Date: June 22, 2012 Time started: 4:10 pm Opening prayer: Audio Visual Presentation Presided by Marvin C. Cabillon- President Marvin presented an Audio Visual Presentation (AVP) about the last school years performance of GEMS to the various events and activities. Reminiscingthe past joyful events we had. Then, presenting the officers for this school year through slideshow. Ariel Vincent Paul Nacion, the former treasurer presented the financial report of the school year 2012-2012, Jubelyn represented the 3rd year, showcasing her talent through singing a Christian song entitled Blessings. The president presented the following agenda through power point presentation.

AGENDA CCO/GEMS Collaboration GEMS Shirt/ Organization Shirt Bumblebee Literary Workshop Organization Fee Acquaintance Party and fees CEd Festival * CCO AND GEMS COLLABORATION The president said that there will be a collection of plastic bottles and newspaper per student. This will serve as the basis for the most active organization in campus. This July 04, 2012 is the deadline of submission. Bea, a 2nd year student, asked about the size of bottles.

*ORGANIZATION SHIRT - The president explained the design contest for the org. shirt and asked the body if they will agree about the motion of Local Councils centralized T-Shirt. - Majority disagreed about the centralized shirts. - Louisa Bonador suggested yellow and black colored shirt. - Louisa added that the shirt may also be in dominant black or yellow, depends upon the students choice. - Bea Mendoza suggested black because she believes that this color would really be used for literary events during festivals and intramurals. - Emary suggested orange. She explained that ever since the GEMS had never experience an orange shirt. So, try another color. - Mark Cuario asked about the T-shirt design, for it matters to the T-shirt color. - On the other hand, Louisa recommended having the color of T-shirt first before the design. - Redian suggested having the shirt design first before the color. - Emary agreed to the suggestion of Louisa. She explained that it would be better and it would be challenging to the designers. - Izay, a first year student suggested if the GEMS could have their printing press instead. - Chloe suggested yellow color, for a change. - Emary said that she firmly disagreed with the dual colored shirt because its expensive. - Louisa explained that she had contact already the owner of the printing press and she could have it at low price. - A nomination for shirt color was raised. Dominant yellow, black (16) Dominant black, yellow (15) Orange (23) Black (45) Plain yellow (9) - A nomination was done for GEMS shirt color and the majority agreed for color black. *BUMBLEBEE LITERARY WORKSHOP - The president suggest that the schedule and date for the coming Bumblebee Literary Workshop. He said that the officers all agreed that this July 11 will be the most convenient and good date to conduct the event. - However the president added that he is opened for suggestions and nominations for the said event.

A first year student asked, What is bumblebee? Karin and Lucille answered the question of the first year student. Emery added additional information why we are called bumblebee, its because we have a quest. No nomination was raised, the body agreed to the proposed date of the president. The president opened the nomination for the Bumblebee Fee. He said that 50Php is a very good amount to meet the needs and satisfaction of the students. A nomination was done for the Bumblebee fee and the body want it that way already. (P50. 00) The proposed date and schedule of the GEMS officers for the Bumblebee day had been accepted by the majority. INTERMISSION NUMBER Judilyn Cabugoy with her partner had a duet song.

*ORGANIZATION FEE - It has been finalized that the org. fee will be 50 Php. Majority said YES. = Motion for the deadline = - Marvin suggested that the best date for this is on July 18, he explained the pros. - There are no nominations, so it has been agreed by the body that July 18 will be the deadliest deadline for the org. fee. *ACQUAINTANCE PARTY & FEES - Marvin stated the concepts of the acquaintance party. He said that the food preparation would probably be by year level. - Neri confirmed that both colors should be dominant in the students attire. - Marvin, the president, said that there therell be a presentation per org this coming acquaintance. - Anna asked, What if someone is willing for the GEMS presentation for the acquaintance party? - Marvin answered Annas question. He said, as long as the student has a talent and interested to perform, then, it would be the pleasure of the organization. *CED FESTIVAL - Marvin only announced the CED Festival dates.
