Harmonics theory calculations

This is a description of the data file comb7t9.csv (which is made available in the same ZIP file as these comments and) which contains the results of long computer calculations to determine the number of ways that the stronger harmonics may be formed through to about 10^54. Or, stated another way, the number of ways that each number may be factorised (not the number of factors). I have recently discovered that mathematicians call this "Number of Ordered Factorisations". Some explanation of the purpose of this data is in order. The harmonics theory was developed because certain periods of cycles were found in many different time series from different disciplines. These common periods were found to be often related by simple whole number ratios, especially products and powers of 2 and 3. The same pattern was found by many researchers using different data from different disciplines and in different time periods. The harmonics theory states:

The Universe consists of a standing wave which develops harmonically related waves, and each of these does the same.
This axiom may be further studied as resulting from the necessity for a non-linear wave equation if there is to be any interaction between components of the universe. The calculations based on this simple assumption amount to extending the following table to very high numbers. The table is to be read as follows. The top line is the harmonic number which is receiving energy, while down the left hand side is shown the harmonic number that is contributing energy. At the bottom is shown the total number of paths that lead to each harmonic (i.e. the number of ways that number may be factorised). In the body of the table, each number is the contribution that the harmonic on the left makes to the harmonic at the top. The contribution that each harmonic makes is always the same as the total for that harmonic. The data is available as a 233KB ZIP file http://homepages.ihug.co.nz/~ray.tomes/comb7t9.zip which when expanded contains this comments file and the file comb7t9.csv which is 794KB and contains 13464 lines, one for each represented harmonic. In the file made available the same data as in the above table is presented as a CSV (comma seperated values) file looking like this:

... The 9th column is the harmonic number H and the 10th column is the number of ways that it may be factorised C(H). The first 9 columns show the prime factorisation of H as indices to the primes 2, 3, 5, 7, 11, 13, 17, 19. In this run I calculated all the harmonics which had prime factorisations with all combinations of indices up to 2^68*3^28*5^11*7^6*11^3*13^1*17^1*19^1 resulting in a 463MB file. By selecting only the stronger ones in each range the file size is considerably reduced without reducing the usefulness very much. This means that all fairly strong harmonics (in their range) up to about 10^50 are included and beyond that the completeness thins out so that only most of the very strongest are included through to 2.81812600482942E+54 which has 7.68869968082377E+86 ways of being factorised! The purpose of making this file available is so that people can explore the very rich structure of these harmonics and come to a familiarity with that structure. It is my strong opinion that no-one can understand the correct working of the universe, particularly the many very diverse scales of structure from sub-atomic particles to the Hubble scale and the relationships between cycles spanning a similar range, without appreciating the manner in which these are connected by harmonically related ratios and the mathematical and musical patterns behind these. The universe is a giant musical instrument and nothing else. Previously I had only done the calculations to about 10^25 (this was in 2001, an extension of the previous 10^12 in the early 1990s), so 10^54 is a big increase which has happened in several steps recently. The present run took more than a day, but less than a smaller one which survived one power fluctuation that made the lights dim during its 2.5 day run. Increases in speed have been achieved by a series of shortcuts in the last month or so. The primitive method in the above table is NOT used but a streamlined method based on the factorisation of numbers and the understanding of what proportions of the indices of the prime factorisation leads to the highest strength harmonics.
