EversincethenIhaveNotstoppedlearning,listening,watching,performing,andcreatingTheatre.Ivebeen takingclassesindanceandactingfor6years,andtrainingmyvoicetobecomeanactor.RecentlyI decidedtolookintootheraspectsoftheatreImightbegoodatbesidesperforming.ItriedwritingMusicand Creatingmusicals.IttookalotofworkandidontthinkImreadyforityet.Itriedbeinganaccompanist, Sightreadingtakeslotsoftraining.NextItrieddoingstagemanagement,Imgoodatitanditseasybutits notwhatIwanttodolongterm.NowIvedecidedIwanttotryDirectingandChoreography. IhadmyfirsttasteofDirectingwhenIwasaskedtoputtogetheratinyPhantomoftheOpera medleyformyhighschoolschorus,spring2012.ThenoverthesummerIreadeverybookIcouldfindon directing,fosse,jeromerobbins,michaelbennet,etc.Thenthispastschoolyeariwasaskedtohelpoutin eitherbecomingthedirectororfindingadirector.Eventuallyitcametothedecisionthatweneededaschool approveddirector,JoanRoberts.

ThenIbecametheassistanttotheDirectorandtheproductions Choreographer.Itwasagreatexperienceandithasmademewanttobecomeadirector.Ialsowas mentoredbyKevinArchambaultofthecenterofperformingartsatrhinebeckinthecraftofdirectingand choreography. SincethenIvedecidedIwanttobeaDirectorandChoreographer.InordertoapplytoaB.F.A.in Directingatalloftheschoolsthatofferit,Ineedtodirectaproduction.Myoriginalthoughtwastodirecta showthatIwaspassionateabout.AshowthathaschangedmylifeandIvebeensoenthralledwiththatI knoweverythingaboutit.ThoseshowsareTheGreatGatsbyandBonnie&Clyde:TheMusical.BeforeI makeanattemptatmyfirstproductionIwanttolearnalittlebitmoreaboutdirectingaPlayvs.directinga musical.IwouldreallyliketobeconsideredtoassistDennisMetnicktolearnhowhedirectsandseeing howtodirectaplay,Dracula.
