CrossTraining...
Well Hey! In case you didnt know, I have been in Wilmore, Kentucky for crosstraining with Cornerstone International for the last two months. From the moment I got to Cornerstone, God has been calling come to Me, and so I have been learning to bring my weak and broken self to His feet and He began to establish rest. So, while I have been having classes about missions, fasting, prayer and spiritual warfare from great teachers, God has been teaching me that if my worship is right in my personal relationship with Him, then I will be ready when the battle arises in Ecuador. He is preparing me for battle and I want to be ready. I am on training ground, centering my hidden, personal, and worshipping life. I have spent a lot of time in classes and prayer but the staff at Cornerstone have been gracious enough to invite me into their homes every weekend and take me on hiking adventures around Kentucky. I think they figured out that my love language is hiking so I am very thankful to have gotten to experience the great outdoors that Kentucky has to offer! I have loved my time here at training but I am anxious to get to Ecuador and start settling into my role at Casa de Fe and see all the kiddos.

Halfway there...
I reached the half-way point of my fundraising goals which means I can go straight to Ecuador after Cross-training is over on October 18th after stopping by Houston, TX to visit my brother Powell AND my mother is flying to Ecuador with me for 2 weeks to help me get settled in and meet all the kids and staff at Casa de Fe! I am super excited about that!
