Having a teachers assistant in the classroom allows for the students to have extra direction, guidance, and gives them someone to collaborate with while writing. Pace University History Department New York, NY Teachers Assistant, HIS297M: History of the American Environment, Fall 2012 Worked closely with Professor Marley Bauce, and assisted him within the classroom by editing students papers, helping students and giving a guest lecture. Prepared and gave an hour long, extensive lecture on the history of agroecology. Worked closely with a special needs student, helping him take notes and write papers.

GENERAL WORK EXPERIENCE


Topman New York, NY/Toronto, ON Retail Associate, November 2011 June 2012 Maintained the cash registers in one of New York Citys busiest retail stores. In addition, my duties were to assist customers, restock merchandise and to promote the brand through my attire. Worked upwards of forty hours a week while in school. Orologio Restaurant New York, NY Waiter, September 2009 November 2010 Worked in a busy restaurant setting, and provided patrons with excellent service. Had to prepare small dishes and drinks, memorized an Italian wine list, and served food to guests. Worked thirty hours a week while in school. ConnPirg Hartford, CT Field Manager, June 2009 September 2009 Led small groups of employees and micromanaged their sales, as well as ensuring they were reaching their sales goals. Promoted to Field Manager a month after being hired due to showing leadership skills, and eventually became a top salesman for the company.
