Mrs Luania Kiori contributed significantly to the
work of Family Voice. She started as a volunteer
to Board member and Senior Counselor. Her
strong Christian and family values were reflected
in the compassionate and loving way she dealt

farewell by Family Voice after she retired.

Kids Keep Safe
Kids keep safe is a program designed especially for children. It trains
children how to identify all forms of abuse and to report any form of abuse

Counselling Support & Referral Services
Family Voice continues to support many women,
children and men to deal with family problems in a
positive non violent manner.
Family Voice would like to salute those brave women,
children and men for breaking the silence around family
violence and seeking help.
However, there are also great numbers of people who are
in abusive relationships in their marriages and families and
they need to stop living behind the curtains of lies because
of many reasons like status, education etc and seek assis-
tance.!

Volunteers trained by Family Voice continue
to do valuable work in their respective commu-
nities to reduce family violence. Family Voice pro-
vides regular supervision and monitoring to them to support
their work.
They are brought into town on a quarterly basis to meet and
celebrate successes and address challenges. They meet with
the rest of the Family Voice staff to strengthen the team work.

PLANS FOR NEXT QUARTER

Family Voice will continue to implement its planned programs during the next quarter and some of them but addi-
tional activities include the following;
 One week community training patrol to Unggai sub District in July.
 Observance of Father’s Day in September 2009.
 Develop plans to implement the recommendations of the External Organizational Review.
 Ensure Deloitte produce long delayed Audit Report for Family Voice.
