IN APPRECIATION
Thank you. Words simply are not adequate to express our sincere appreciation. And thanks for the kind words and support at the Memorial Service for Carole Core at the Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church. A special thanks to Pastors Jeff & Maxine, the choir and director Phil Wallace. Custodians and kitchen volunteers also need our thanks. The number of cards and expressions of sympathy have been nearly unbelievable. With warm regard, Maurice Core & Family
H. Don Foster Family would like to thank our Church Family for the kindness, care and compassion given to us at the time of the death of our beloved Don. Pastor Maxine and Rev. Ivon for their comforting words. Jan, for her beautiful music and Meals of Comfort Committee for the delicious luncheon served. We are certain Dons own little piece of heaven is filled with Scarlet Cardinals, Lavender Lilacs and maybe a baseball or two. You are indeed the hands and feet of Jesus. H. Don Foster Family Dear Hannah Sisters, thank you so much for your gift to the missions fund in memory of John. I know your gift will reach many people in many places. God Bless. Pat Dearest Dear Staff & Folks at Reynoldsburg United Methodist Church, I am sorry this is a little late but I wanted to thank you for the great flowers that were an awesome way to start my time here. Peace & Thanks. Nate My dear praying friends - I had a mammogram 9/20, just a year after surgery, and was told the results were free and clear. So what have I really learned? As I heard in a witness recently, Jesus walked me through. Scripture and devotions often spoke directly. Most of the time, Jesus was in your prayers, my inbox and mailbox, on the phone and at my door through you! I may even have gotten better at waiting. I know Ive grown in empathy and patience with others experiencing difficulties. Thanks again for your caring of Dick and I. Margie Barrett

SPRING HILL DAY CAMP Spring Hill Day Camp returned to Reynoldsburg UMC during the week of August 5th to 9th. It was an amazing adventure for 115 kids. The kids began each day in a dance party, hearing a Bible story, watching a skit and learning the days verse. They spent most of the week outside enjoying many activities including: water games on the inflatable slide and slip-n-slide, jumping on the bungee trampoline and climbing the rock wall. After each activity, staff talked with the kids about how they could relate the activity to Jesus. At the end of the week, the camps closing ceremony included a recap for the parents and an award certificate for each child. Spring Hill 2014 is already scheduled for July 28-August 1. VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL Vacation Bible School was huge success again this year. There were over 350 kids from our church and community who roamed our halls, with a Under the Big Top theme the week of June 17-21. Each day began with music led by Tim & Tasha Levert, followed by interactive Bible stories, games, crafts and circusthemes snacks. The huge success would not have been possible if not for our volunteers and servants who helped that week. We cannot wait to see everyone back next summer. WORKCAMP 2013: LIVIN THE DREAM Rene Wilson
