Advanced Diploma of Ayurveda (HLT60712)

If youve already had a taste of Ayurvedic treatment by completing a Certificate IV in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation, now its time to devour the full course. Sunshine Coast TAFE offers an Advanced Diploma in Ayurveda. This in-depth course of traditional therapies covers diet, herbal prescribing, lifestyle adaptation to improve the health of an individual by treating them as an individual. Youll complete 25 competencies which includes 13 specialisation units. Youll learn how to: perform Ayurvedic remedial massage assessment, treatment and lifestyle consultation; plan Ayurvedic herbal and treatment strategy; prepare and dispense Ayurvedic Herbs; provide Ayurvedic advice on nutrition; perform Ayurvedic health assessment; and manage work within the Ayurvedic framework. This high level qualification will give practitioners full complimentary health prescribing capabilities. An Ayurvedic lifestyle will be a fascinating journey for both practitioners and their clients.

Career Prospects: Entry Requirement: Assessment Information: Ayurvedic lifestyle consultant, natural therapist, ayurvedic massage therapist, lifestyle self improvement. Workers in health centres or self employed. Certificate IV in Ayurvedic Lifestyle Consultation. Students will be assessed via various modes including; assignments, tests, oral questioning, observation and third party reports, Assessment is competency based and requires the completion of all projects and assignments, written and/or practical, as set out within the TAFE student handbook.

Full Fee : $11,400 The fee charged for programs where there is no Government Subsidy or the participant is not eligible under the Certificate 3 Guarantee and are regarded as Fee for Service. For approved Diploma and Advanced Diploma programs payment of fees may use the VET FEE HELP payment option. VET Fee Help Fee: $11,400 This program is VET FEEHELP approved. VET FEEHELP provides an interest free loan from the Federal Government and is available to pay for all or part of course tuition fees for eligible students.
