The Most Comprehensive Youth Financial Education Guide on the Market!

CU 4 RealityTM begins with a classroom curriculum guide, developed by educators for educators. The curriculum can be seamlessly integrated into an existing classroom curriculum. After completing the curriculum, students participate in the CU 4 RealityTM Fair, a fun and exciting simulation of spending and budgeting based on career choices and lifestyle decisions.

Through creating personal budgets based on expected income, and allocating dollars for housing, food, and clothing, plus purchases they feel they cant live without, students see how easy it is to fall short on money and then they can see how to close the gap through solutions.

The CU 4 RealityTM guide provides all the tools for your credit union volunteers to show students, on the spot, how they can successfully manage their finances!

The CU 4 RealityTM Fair guide has all you need to run a completely turn-key program.
Planning sheets, timelines, materials, and calculations are laid out in a simple to use format based on the collective results of past Fairs. Plus, you have the ability to customize many of the sections yourself. The guide includes:

Educator Feedback
Implementing the program was seamless with my current curriculum. The modules are free-standing. The students came away from the program with a much greater understanding of a real persons salary, and how they would have to divide their income for expenses in order to live on their own. Working with our local credit union was great! They visited our school, trained us on the program and even introduced us to local business leaders.

Student Praise
When my parents say they dont have the money, now I know what theyre going through. Save if you want something because it goes out faster than it comes in. I loved the Wheel of Reality. I learned that unplanned expenses can really hurt your budget. The real world is hard!
