About giBS

Gitarattan International Business School (giBS) was established in the year 2004. giBS is affiliated to Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi and is approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), Ministry of HRD, Government of India. It is accredited by National Assessment & Accreditation Council (NAAC) and is ISO 9001: 2008 certified. The Institute is assessed as Category 'A' by Joint Assessment Committee of Govt of Delhi & Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The Institute conducts postgraduate courses of MBA, MBA (International Business) and MCA. At giBS, thrust is on overall personality development of students so that they can face the challenges in their competitive professional life with value-based approach. In addition to academic inputs students are exposed to various co-curricular activities, which help them to hone their managerial skills both as professional manger and entrepreneur. Apart from providing quality education, emphasis is on to develop leadership qualities, risk-taking abilities and decision-making skills right from the beginning of their professional education. The institute has state-of-the-art infrastructure, a team of highly dedicated & wellqualified faculty, well-stocked library & computer labs and placement assistance.

Learning Facilities
CAMPUS The campus is located at Madhuban Chowk, Rohini, well connected by Metro and other public transport. The Seven-story building has a state-ofthe-art infrastructure. It is WiFi enabled with 4 Mbps (1:1 contention ratio) dedicated Internet leased line connectivity. AUDITORIUM The Auditorium at giBS is centrally airconditioned with LCD Projection & Sound System with a seating capacity of 300. It is a place where students come in contact with experts from industry & academia during conferences, seminars and workshops, which enrich them with varied knowledge & skills.

LIBRARY The library is the central repository of knowledge at giBS with more than 22,000 reference & textbooks on management, computer science and various other allied subjects. Besides books, library has subscribes to many foreign and Indian Journals, Business & IT magazines and newspapers. SEMINAR HALLS giBS has three air-conditioned seminar halls each with seating capacity of 120. Seminar halls are equipped with audio visual training aids to assist students to show case and present their view points on variety of issues.

COMPUTER LABS The Institute has a computer centre with 120 PCs and four computer labs each with 60 workstations. All labs are well connected through LAN. Systems with high configurations are equipped with licensed software as per the requirement of syllabi.

CLASSROOMS Air-conditioned classrooms are the most happening place in the Institute where studentteacher interaction on curriculum and on variety of other aspects occurs. Classrooms are equipped with audio-visual training aids.

About MBA Program

Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a two-year full time Business Management Program comprising four semesters (two in each academic year) each of 18 weeks duration. PROGRAM HIGHLIGHTS l Dual specialization in Marketing, Finance, Human Resource Management and International Business. l Seminars, conferences, workshops and guest lectures by eminent persons from industry & academia; case studies, role plays, management games etc are conducted for enhancing analytical & application skills. l Eminent dedicated Core-Faculty. l Personality Development Module is integrated with curriculum. l Study Tours to industry. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA The eligibility criteria for the admission to MBA program is: Any recognized Bachelor's Degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Technology or any other subject with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate or any qualification recognized as equivalent thereto with minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR Passed the Final Examination of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India or England, the Institute of Cost and Works Accountants of India or England or the Institute of Company Secretaries of India. ADMISSION PROCEDURE The admissions are carried out strictly on merit basis through a Common Entrance Test (CET) conducted by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. EXAMINATION AND EVALUATION To implement the "Teaching-Learning" process for MBA program the Institute follows the curriculum laid down by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The examination and evaluation is conducted by the University. The degree of MBA to successful students is awarded by Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.
