Description:- Eve Teasing can be consideredas the first signal to an extremely sinful crime where the life of a girl can change to an unimaginable extent! It is an act by boys and men which involves staring,commenting at and touching girls at the wrong places. They do it for mere reasons of passing time, or satisfying themselves. There 's a cheap thrill obtained by the boys ! TYBMM students of L.S.Raheja college have taken the initiative to aware people today about how eve teasing is rapidly increasing , and awakening a thought among themsomething should be done about it. SEIZING THE TEASING is a campaign where in we need you all to contribute and support us to overcome this problem the girls face. It's an unfortunate truth that women are sexually harassed, and sometimes assaulted, the world over. But in the Indian state of Maharashtra, there is an increasing determination to stamp out "Eve teasing", as it is called here, for good. As we know our Indian Society has always remained and will always be male dominated. The women in India has suffered a lot through stages. Eve teasing is a menace that has grown to alarming proportions. Not many cities in India are considered safe for women. Though, we are one of the fastest growing countries in world but we have yet to ensure the safety of working women and students.

Woman Oh Woman - a creature divine, since her inception she has been the greatest mystery. Many an adjectives good or bad fail to define her epitome. A Mother, a Goddess, a being many superior, race belonging strong men would die for. Women's role have been stereotypically defined be it the East or the West. The west has been vocal about their equality for women initiatives yet. 'Microsoft' the computer giant prefers having more men working for it rather than women. Moving on to the East - it found its behavior with women something to be proud about, and being vocal about it was a happy coincident. "That is the right way you treat women" agreed all men. West suppressed their inertia and very arrogantly pinpoints finger on east forgetting the fast that three fingers point back at them, yet they are humble with their approach to women; which the attention seeking East acknowledges. Believe it or not, no place on earth will ever acknowledge the fact that the race of women is superior to that of men. The stone-like ego of men is inflammable you see. Since ages, women have been treated with biased attitudes, termed as mere meek beings meant to be exploited- sexually, abused - physically & mentally, and worshiped - pretentiously to overshadow the dark side!

India is a country synonymous to this attitude and so is its economic capital Mumbai - a bustling city which runs on lightning fast wheels. Amidst all the work and play you'll notice alot of men's eyes are running all over you, unpleasant smiles thrown over, a fully intended tug at your shoulder, a clean swipe at your thighs while you walk, whistling and hooting at its best, sexist comments and also the filthiest of crammed up english to make a statement to some city girl. Alot of people cite such men belong to the lower classes or the uneducated strata of the society, they aren't completely wrong or right either - white collared, blue collared, labour class, whatever the case of class, the only common phenomenon found in these eve-teasers is their race - MEN! It's like some in-built stigma that makes them behave so. The sight of a woman confuses their rational system so bad, an error occurs and they are acting so chauvinist pigs biting grit together. I get the established fact that women are special, their beauty and charm has supernatural effects but how can the superior race of egoistic men not function decently in front of our slight, gentle womanly race. If our sight itself makes men act so cheap, shallow and desperate then I solemnly state "Women's superiority prevails over that weird race of meek men!".
