October must be the start of the adrenalin rush...

After a gorgeous holiday of beachfront camping, totally chilling out one week, and then the gourmet love fest of food and AFL in Melbourne the second week, it took about 24hrs to get back into full throttle, family life, post holidays! Alarm clocks to get up for school and a demo at Ms Hamptons first thing after drop off! Ms Hamptons has a gorgeous Hampton style home, complete with the perfectly sized and coloured front door mat printed with HOME. My little eyes had many visual WOW moments. Ms Hamptons mini me also presented me with a lovely drawing... not a bad way to start back at work! I met nine lovely women that day and had 4 bookings for the Christmas cooking class in December! Ms Hamptons ordered her Christmas present (Thermomix of course) that day, the gift that gives I say!! Ms Hamptons has been charged with hosting the Christmas gathering and will impress with how organised her kitchen is on the day! Not to mention the homemade delights! Next stop Mrs Mysterious, another demo, meeting another nine stunning women with the added bonus of learning about the Tonis Choc Mint Sorbet Infuse a peppermint tea bag in 1 Litre of hot water, Add 3 Tbs coco powder. Freeze at least overnight in ice cube trays. Blitz 80 gm sugar to make icing sugar, add half quantity frozen cubes speed 9, 30 secs

exercise class that I have now joined! Must mention here that this particular class had me just about pulling the toilet roll holder off the wall from super sore leg muscles!! As this work out class is 6am, I made Cinnamon Scrolls for the kids to nibble. See recipe pg.3 Miss A3 was desperate for the solution to a problem. On touch football days, Miss A3 would like a frozen sports drink because she is soooooo, like, thirsty! As I have a no sports drink policy (they actually have printed not for children under 12) I had to think out of the box. Can you believe an idea from Mrs Nutritionist and a mango seed gave me a win win solution!? Mrs Nutritionist said to use coconut water after sports and add fruit...so I did! With some watermelon a few pieces of left over pineapple and with my hands squeezing the remaining flesh and juice off a mango seed, add coconut water to the Thermomix bowl speed 9, 30 secs. I then froze it in a drink container (and sampled some immediately)!. It was a hands down winner!! Coconut water is very Hollywood at the moment, so is fairly easy to get a hold of! Try that one for sure! The Red Cross Fundraiser Morning Tea with Thermomix prepared delights was a lovely morning. Thank you to my guests for attending and a special mention to Fran

Jones for your donation, you are so lovely! I made Nigella Brownies, and the Banana, Date and Walnut bread (everyday cookbook pg. 118) with some cream cheese frosting. I also unveiled my Choc Mint Sorbet, making a delicious batch before the swooning crowd!! Recipe below. This one freezes well for delish ice blocks on hot afternoons! Can I introduce Mrs Google? Mrs Google spent many hours over the week before her demo on You Tube and Google researching Thermomix. After attending a demo and organising one for herself, stage fright set in and Mrs Google cancelled. ARGHH! 2 weeks later, after seeing a China made product Mrs Google had now seen the other side, and it wasnt pretty! Mrs Google is the proud owner of her own Thermomix!! ! Similarly Mrs C is very similar, after booking a demo Mrs C went about her internet research and her husband sat alone at night watching TV. He was thrilled when Mrs C purchased, he got his wife back! And soon she will come bearing treats!! To conclude the month My family headed to Noosa for Miss A3 to do the kids Tri. On researching different recipes for my Peach Gelato to make for the group I stumbled across a recipe for homemade Milo.....stay tuned!! Add second half frozen cubes and 1 egg white and a small handful mint speed 9, 30 secs. Insert Butterfly speed 4, 40 secs. Serve immediately! Watch as eyes close and smiles emerge! adjust sugar and coco to suit taste

You know what got me wondering what Nobis Orci Aliquam way to go with this one? ... wants to make the ice cream and pavlova, oh and the Aioli is taking his fancy also. All in all the App is a digital version of the cookbook My Way Of Cooking which retails for $60. So there is a big saving in cost and the App gives a few videos and the food styling is very appealing! If you have been living like a mushroom, in the dark, and did not hear about the book launch for In The Mix released in October, prepare yourself. This book is a foodies dream come true, it is tricked up recipes that are restaurant standard. I will be using for Anniversary dinners and the like. Some wonderful recipes that had me amazed at what the Thermomix can pull off! To preview this book come along to a cooking class or tempt me with a cuppa and I will bring my copy for you to view! I also learnt this month how much self control I am capable of. During a night Varoma (steaming) demo at Mrs Nutritionists, I had misread the instructions on the chickpea soup and ended up burning my finger to the point I got a fugly blister! Do you know, I did not swear, stamp my feet or even whack a tea towel on the bench to vent my frustration! Know what I did? Fluttered my eyelids and carried on! That never would have happened at home!

Uam Do you Scelerisque remember the movie Never Ending Story? It is the one Maecenas Interdum where the boy reads the book and it magically comes to life and he is flying around on a big, white fluffy animal? Any-who, in October I found Cras Maecenas the book I wanted to magically go into for a day. Well, magazine Curabitur LeoHay 10 yr. anniversary edition. It is so beautiful, actually, The Donna each page more beautiful that the last. As I flicked through I declared to Rasellus man of Tortor the house I wanted to go and live in the magazine for a day! He Porta thoughtQuisque I was mad! For a visual person like me it was an absolute gem! So here is the question...what book would you love to live in for a day? I would love to hear your answer! I am looking for some of my customers recipes to go in the newsletter, I believe Mrs Mysterious and another customer to be introduced next month, Mrs Hedges (she was sitting on a 6ft wall with an electric hedge trimmer when I delivered her Thermomix!) should have a thing or two to share as they are phenomenal cooks, you know, the kind that tinkers and adjusts until they get it spot on (God Love them!).....NO PRESSURE THOUGH ladies!! Pappa Goose was on holidays this month so has little to contribute, other than the basic of mashed potatoes (or whipped really) pg. 83 Everyday cookbook. A World Cup holiday in NZ, riding the high of an All Blacks win (Pappa Goose is a Kiwi whose accint gits viry thuck whin he goes beck!) Will have to get back on side next month with a cracker recipe to contribute! INTENDED PRESSURE!!

Remember not only to say the right thing in the right place, But far more difficult still, To leave unsaid the wrong thing At the tempting moment. Benjamin Franklin Late news just in...
Mrs Nutritionist and family are moving. No, not around the corner or interstate....to the USA!! I have known Mrs Nutritionist since I was a gorgeous little 9 yr. old and she a spunky teenager! Gosh, I am pretty sure I wont tear until her toosh is on the plane. I will give some grace to Mrs Nutritionist to move, settle in and be back in the saddle in March. It is just America,2 not another planet....it is isnt it!? Feels like there is a Gapes family holiday coming up!!

No complaints to getting up early
