Step 1
First a draw a simple thin line through the middle of the page. Then i got stuck in with the fill tool. i
choose dark blue for the mountains. Here is an example:
Step 2
i pondered on this for a bit, then i made a reflection (transparently) below it. It looks something
like this:
Step 3
Then i zoomed in on the drawing- wondering what to do next. I thought that i might do some detail
so i started out with the line tool. I made it really thin and started doing.....lines. I thought the
looked like trees sometimes too.
It looked something li
ke this.
Step 4
This was good so i Jhk766cs5788bh864
finished doing it. But the sky looked to....bright. so i got the fill tool, made it transparent (and
Black) and made the sky darker. i also made the reflection a transparent light blue colour.

Step 5
Then i put a couple of stars in the sky (goodness; i feel like God!) and the moon. I used the
airbrush tool to make the stars (and moon) look like they were giving of light. I did the moon in the
reflection but not the stars because they were not bright enought to be seen in it. i also added a
black bar down the bottom which hosted my rough signature which can't be seen in the drawing
itself.

Step 6
Then added some fog using the airbrush.

Step 7
Therfore, A complete drawing!

Step 1
Fill the canvas with the very pale blue colour (almost close to white as shown in figure).
Step 2
choose any dark blue to build the horizontal line. Draw it with the low transparency (between 5-8).
The line need not necessarily be straight or parallel, because places on our Earth isn't flat
everywhere, so the slight slant will be ideal. But... AVOID TOO slant.

Step 3
On "guide", draw another line to seperate the land and 'frozen sea' (ice rink).
Now, on "canvas", with pencil, current transparency and colour; draw the slight curves along the
'guide' line.
Now go back to guide layout to 'undo' the 'guide' line.

If you still can't understand 'what' curve to draw, you will see it well in step 4...
Step 4
With 'fill' tool, dark blue(shown in figure) and current transparency; draw the clouds. It should not
look like mountain or hill, rather it should look like bushes.

Step 5
Again with transparency 14-16, and current colour; starting from the horizontal line, draw another
cloud higher than the previous.

It needn't match like the shadow with the initial cloud.

Step 6
move the colour meter around 'dark blue' colour section.
Select airbrush and 4th thinkness.
Choose the colour blackish blue as in figure.
Now spray the air brush over the edges of the previous two cloud. Next inside them to create the
'cloudish' effect.
And then, Draw the third cloud edge. Pay heed as it should not be very dark by over colouring..

Step 7
Create many other clouds\cloudish effects until you get the desired effect.
Tip: while creating it, move your mouse in the 'mini curves' like the first cloud edges.
Step 8
Pick the first cloud colour; and with it draw some more clouds clouds using airbrush. Those
clouds shouldn't reach higher, rather it should be almost near first\second cloud. Because dark
layer of clouds are at the bottom followed by lighter towards to top.
Adjust the transparency to 15-30, airbrush thickness, and draw some more cloud strokes, until
the sky looks cloudy.

Pay heed to the ink, to save it, stop drawing some more clouds when the ink reduces by 2 or 3.

Step 9
On guide layout, divide the ice rink with the lines as shown in figure.
This will make it look like the land is kinda far.
Go the colour meter to the 'light blue' section and select the true light blue as shown in figure.
On canvas layout, With line and with 3rd thinkness draw the lines to shade the ice rink. It needn't
start from land to the end...small lines anywhere is enough, however make sure they are going
towards the direction of guided lines...

Step 10
Shade more lines with: random transparencies between 1-60, random line thickness except the
6th, random light ice-ish blue colours like pure white, pale grey, true ligth blues, etc.
Stop it when your rink looks almost like in figure, and then Remove the guide lines by going to
guide layout and undo-ing.

Step 11
Select the white, not pure white, but milkish as shown. set the transparency to 55-60 and with
airbrush colour all over the ice rink.
Step 12
With the current settings, spray near the edges and in the left-bottom corners as shown.
Now select the fill tool and do the same over those areas.

Step 13
Pick the background colour, ie the colour which you have set to the canvas in the beginning.
Set transparency to 30 and fill the complete ice rink.
Step 14
Now to build the snow on the land...
Pick the milk-ish white and fill the land, no need to fill carefully inside the edges, let it slip little...
=p

Step 15
Select pure white, airbrush and 2nd thinkness; and highlight around the edges of the land as
shown.
Step 16
Select the fill tool and draw some 'cap' shapes over the land to make it look like snow.

Step 17
Now go the colour meter to dark blue section and select the pale grey (NOT the one shown in
figure) 25 transparency, pencil and 2nd thickness; and draw over the ending edges of the land as
shown.

Now select the shown pale violet colour and with airbrush; spray darker near the horizontal end of
the land and lighter over the areas of the land, as shown.
Step 18
Select the pure white and fill tool.
Start filling the corner of the cloud where you want the sun to be. then fill over it exceeding little
higher, again towards another highest point, then lower towards down, then another down and so
on; as marked by the black lines.

Step 19
Go the meter to dark blue section and select the blackish blue. set transparency between 5-8 and
draw some more dark clouds near the horizon.
Step 20
Make it look like cloudish by shading the edges of all the drawn clouds with airbrush, 2nd
thickness. Let the horizon look darker by using dark colours and lighter colours towards the top.
Don't shade much near the white parts because it's the sun's rays.

Step 1
First you want to create a background color I do this as a solid color then airbrush a slightly light
color over top Airbrush tool brush size 100 Opacity 30 and Color 100

Step 2
Next I use the smudge tool round soft brush size 40
opacity 60
color 15
blend 30 and with a stippling motion create smudgy streaks where you want the clouds to be this
will be just a guideline as you add in details later
Step 3
Next I like to use the lightening and darkening tools alternating.
brush is round soft size 90-100
opacity on 5
everything else at 0
Use the same stippling effect that is like dotting in short stokes cross the page creating darker
spot then click on lightening tool using the same setting to go over the cloud areas. This will
create a wispiness to the cloud base. Keeping in mind a light source that we are about to create
in the next steps.

Step 4
next you want to choose a contrasting color for light.. I am choosing an orange yellow airbrush a
brighter spot that will be your light source and then lightly I mean keep opacity LOW ALWAYS
when doing the sky and clouds opacity 9 color 7 highlight edges of clouds
I then switch from airbrush to pencil still opacity 9 color7 go to an almost white and trace the
outlines of what clouds I want to see. move the mouse quickly and hold down your left click
button in a flowing motion around the clouds edges

Step 5
a Couple of steps happened next using the darkening tool i shrunk the brush size down to about
50 and went back over the clouds again. opacity about 2 to just create more of the wispiness
alternated between darkening the bottom and the blue areas. used pencil on white opacity 9 color
7 to outline clouds and define shape then put in the small trailing white line clouds that add the
interesting details.

That is all to taste alternating dark to light on VERY low opacity NO color shaping clouds edges.

Then use the smudge tool carefully. to the left and right of your light source you want to grab the
darker color with a mouse click on it and hold down the left button and not let go and pull that
dark color round soft pencil size 3 opacity 3 into the lighter colors do the same thing around the
clouds with the darker into the lighter colors to define edges.
Step 6
This steps shows ultimately why it is important to keep those white pencil strokes so low in
opacity. Use the lightening tool round soft size 90 from that center light source in sweeping out
motions to meet the clouds and those white highlights will show up as bright cloud linings.
Alternate again using the darkening tool sweeping in from the outsides between the clouds.

One last trick i use is to click on the lightening tool settings to be round soft thickenss at 1 opacity
15 clor 25 using the color white and put it on straight line stroke. sweep across the screen about
1/3 of the way down where that light source is. When you look at a horizon you often get that
stingy line effect just go back and forth parallel lines across that light source. it will look like the
light is pulled across the page.

Step 1
Start off by selecting the line tool.
Set it to maximum.
Transperancy 30.

Start making vertical lines not straight but have variation in it. Not all the same way.

Step 2
Now go to a lighter colour green.
Set line thikness to 4.

And go just above the thicker lines.(photo)

Use same method.

Dont forget Variation!
Step 3
Now go to ever more lighter green and repeat step 2.

Let the ends stick out a bit

Step 4
Now set the line tool thinkness to 1.
Transperancy to 60.

Change colour to darker green.

Start off from bottom and make allot straight lines check the photo.

I zoomed in so you can see it better

Step 5
Now go to a bit lighter and repeat step 4.
But use this in the middle.

Step 6
Now a very light green colour. Same mether at step 4 and 5 but use these above.

Now go to Air Brush and select 6 points.

Set to colour black ans transperancy to 10.

Make some shadow beneath the grass(photo).

Step 7
Thats it!! ^^

Now you can add anything you want to the picture :D

Good luck grassing!
