UNICEF: END CHILD TRAFFICKING PSA

The concept of this work is to raise public awareness on child trafficking.

CONCEPT 1 WRITTEN TREATMENT

Story & Characters
The piece can be divided into two big parts. The first part states the problem and information on child trafficking. The second part discusses a project End Child Trafficking by UNICEF and what people can do to end child trafficking.
Style
The piece will be in a style a flat black and white illustration with a bits of textures to be more interesting. I have three concepts for the main graphics. First is to use the images of shadow or shadow puppet. Second is to use the images of games from childhood. Third is to use images of hands to show both suppress and support. Or I am planning to incorporate all these three elements.
Animation Technique
The animation will be based on basic keyframing and a shape tool. Cel animation will be used in certain parts for a smooth transormation between objects.

STORYBOARD BRIEF
Frame 1 State the problem that there are millions of children suffering from child trafficking.
Frame 2 Each zero becomes a child.
Frame 3 The stocking becomes a fence to show that children are forced to be in prostitution or dangerious working place.
Frame 4 A lot of children form a flag of the U.S. to show that there are thousands suffering in the U.S.
Frame 5 The second part starts as the background color change. UNICEF believes in ZERO child trafficking.
Frame 6 The use of the image of Pac Man to show UNICEFs efforts in creating a protection for children from trafficking.
Frame 7 The image of shaking hands to show peoples partnership to end child trafficking.
Frame 8 the end tag with the website of UNICEF.

Frame 1 A calender is formed. Its hard to think about that....
Frame 2 Each page of calender falls apart continuously and fast. The number that represents a year keep increasing fast. every year.
Frame 3 The number expands to each side..
Frame 4 millions of
Frame 5 Each zero becomes a child. children
Frame 6 A price tag for each child.
Frame 7 hands from top and bottom take away children. bought and sold.Only one child remains.
Frame 8 A head of child becomes a part of shadow of a shoe.
STORYBOARD #2
Frame 1 Steps of a mans shoes. They are forced
Frame 2 legs with tights. into prostitution.
Frame 3 The tights become a fence. or made to work at
Frame 4 Camera moves down. A child carrying a heavy basket of stones. grueling dangerous jobs.
Frame 5 As stones are dropped, each becomes a child. And thousands of these children
Frame 6 Zoom-out. More children like a pattern. live here.
Frame 7 Children form a flag of the U.S. Yes. Right here, in the United States.
Frame 8 A flag is folded from each side.

Frame 1 It becomes a diagonal.
Frame 2 A diagonal becomes a part of 1/2. 5 and a half of millions of children
Frame 3 Robots marching. are victims of forced laborers,
Frame 4 A net comes down from the top. It catches heads of robots. or child trafficking
Frame 5 A circular shape of net becomes the earth. The earth rotates and the arrows reaching out all over the world. all over the world.
Frame 6 A robot falls down from the top.
Frame 7 A childs hand tries to pick up the robot.
Frame 8 A big evil hand takes the child away. Their childhoods are being stolen.

Frame 2 The part 2 starts with a background color change in white. UNICEF believes ZERO children should suffer this way.
Frame 3 A transition, radial wipe.
