General Information
We get many emails addressing us as a university. Please note that Silver Lining
Creation is not a university or a part of any university. It has been registered as a not-for-
profit media organization and has due authority to conduct academic sessions, training
programs and be part of other learning activities. However, our programs are not aimed
at providing students with certain credits which can be supplemented or transferred to
other filmmaking courses or academic degrees.
We are an open group of independent filmmakers and script writers and most of our
workers work voluntarily in order to offer completely free or cheapest services possible.
We expect that applicants applying for this programme possess a sense of volunteerism
and, when needed, prepare themselves to work for social benefits without expecting
anything in return.
We are interested in a wide range of global issues, but our primary focus is on the issues
of developing countries. So the applicant should
either come from a developing country or should
be able to show his or her interest in the developing
world.
- The applicant must be at least 15 years of age and should have completed
secondary education or any other vocational training equivalent to that.
- The applicant must be proficient in the language of the training programme, i.e.
English. Command of the English language is a very important criterion for
admission. There are several ways to demonstrate your language proficiency level
including proficiency test results, your written work in English or demonstration
of academic degrees completed in English.
- The applicant must be able to exhibit his or her interest in the developing world,
poor economies, oppressed and vulnerable communities, women, ethnic and
indigenous minorities and environmentally hazardous regions.
There is no admission or teaching fee for this programme. This course is offered online
and is entirely free.
