WORK PLAN: Activities 1 Teacher asks students how energy is produced Teacher shows students a video clip which focuses on the threats the burning fossil fuels poses to the humankind. Teacher asks whether they have found the video frightening and why. Teacher asks whether the situation is similar in their city/region Teacher Introduces the topic and the aims of the lessons Students brainstorm what alternative sources of energy will/can be used. They write down their answers on pieces of paper that go on the blackboard. Teacher shows students Pictures presenting renewable sources of energy and students match them to what they brainstormed. Pictures can also be used to elicit answers if students have got stuck Each group does research on one type of alternative energy and presents to the class pros and cons of its use. Teacher asks students to come up with 3 best sources or perhaps rate the sources. Teacher makes use of the pictures and Pieces of paper, felt-tip pens a video clip Tools and materials Time 3-5

Student centered-classes focused on each student's needs, abilities, interests, and learning styles, placing the teacher as a facilitator of learning. This classroom teaching method acknowledges student voice as central to the learning experience for every learner, and differs from many other learning methodologies.
Learning networks learning in which information and communication technology is used to promote connections: between one learner and other learners, between learners and tutors; between a learning community and its learning resources.
Virtual teachers the course is not taught in a classroom face-toface but through some substitute mode that can be associated with classroom teaching. That means people do not have to go to the real class to learn.
Mobile learning
with the use of mobile devices, learners can learn from various locations. The objective of M-learning is to provide the learner the ability to assimilate learning anywhere and at any time.

Technology Operations and Concepts Students demonstrate a sound understanding of technology concepts, systems, and operations. Creativity and critical thinking Students are able to distinguish between assumptions that are justifiable in context and those that are not. students are able to think of many, varied, or unusual ideas, or use their creative thinking abilities. Integration with other subjects: Tools: Basic knowledge of computers (ICT) Any subject of their curricula - planning a class with ICT tools Language studies (foreign / mother tongue) Web browser Computer with Internet connection and screen projector device for presenter Other high tech devices they are used to handle (maybe beyond teachers knowledge) ie. smart phones, games boxes, mp3/4, interactive whiteboard.. video, website, photos. iPods/iPads/tablets/cell phones/x-Box and other games, ...
Learning materials (e.g. video clips, podcasts, websites, photos, text books etc.) Teaching methods:
Constructivist and collaboratives educational paradigms Here are some advices for the teacher:
1. Make sure your presentation is dynamic and engages the students. 2. Keep moving so students have something to watch. 3. Try not to get stuck in a corner. 4. Make eye contact with as many students as possible. 5. Use positive rather than negative language 6. Limit the amount you read from the board, screen or script. 7. Add your own words and character. 8. Encourage the students to contribute every idea they possibly can! 9. When you want your students to be fluent, flexible, original, or to elaborate, work very hard to refrain from any evaluation or judgment of ideas. You will be able to analyze the ideas later.

The Future School - School in 2020 WORK PLAN We propose 2 paths (to be chosen according to the class characteristics) - a compromise between both is also possible): PATH # 1 Orientation and motivation Focus and Review Take time to introduce yourself and share a little about your background and your interest in the topic. Next, poll the audience to find out what they already know about this topic. Then, share a little about what you will be covering just enough to peak their interest. Objectives Tell the audience: Today, we are going to be learning how to find a proper tool for a specific activity and how to use it Activities Teacher creates a class Google Site and adds students as collaborators. Also, teacher gives a reflexion theme: ( for exemple: Where/what for can we use the Google Earth tool?) In teams or individually, students create pages in the class Site with a solution.
TEAM M Time
10 minutes
20 minutes
Arrange students into groups of 4-5 and hand them to research about one tool. Each group will represent a different tool. This tool can be a real one or imaginary. Ask each group to invent a name that represents their tool and its utility.
50 minutes
Activities
As a class, discuss each tool and ask the class to determine whether: 1. Is it real? 2. Is it also applicable in classroom in 2020? 3. Offer a demonstration of its use in learning a subject of their own choice. When you are analyzing, comparing, or evaluating ideas, be certain to keep a clear, sharp focus on what youre trying to do or develop using those tools. PATH # 2

TEAM M
Focus and Review Before the class (previous homework), ask them to bring to the classroom every tech device they have and usually handle inside/outside school The main idea is to make them feel important and experts on the subject - that will be the key word for their performance Objectives From their personal practical knowledge, ss will be led to develop, first, their more theoretical knowledge (researching) and then to develop their imagination and creativity. Doing this they also learn how to use those tools in their Personal Learning (at school level and a precious Long life Learning competence).
10 minutes
Activities
Face-to-face group work (brainstorming): ask them what do they know about the potentialities of the devices their group members brought to the classroom - for instance by starting collaboratively a wiki article (one page for each tool, made by a group of 2 or 3 ss) - they can draw a mind map and paste it in the wiki.
40 minutes
Virtual group work (wiki writing): ask them to create a school activity where they can use one of the tools theyre working about in the wiki (try to have so many different tools as possible in the whole class) - itd be better if you give them a planning template to organize their work.
