Natalie Prokopchuk has been working in international projects and foreign cooperation activities in different spheres since
1999. From January 2008 she worked as a project coordinator of the Swiss-Ukrainian project Organic Certification and Market
Development in Ukraine (2005-2011) and from June 2012 as a project manager of the Swiss-Ukrainian project Organic
Market Development in Ukraine (2012-2016), both implemented by the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL,
Switzerland) and funded by the Swiss Confederation through the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO). Natalie
Prokopchuk is responsible for management and coordination within the project of technical assistance which focuses on the
strengthening the competitiveness of the Ukrainian organic sector. Her key qualifications are project management, public
relations, finance, resource and event management, administration, business processes establishing and implementation,
market development, evaluation, supervision and monitoring. She is in direct contact with Ukrainian organic producers,
processors, retailers, umbrella organizations, certification bodies, other organic stakeholders, policy makers, media,

Anatoliy Ruduk was born in 1956. He graduated Department of Agricultural Chemistry and Soil Science of Ukrainian
Agricultural Academy in 1979.
He started his professional activity as a soil analyst at Zhytomyr Regional Agrochemical Laboratory in 1979. He further
worked as a soil analyst and a senior engineer of All-Union Institute of Land Resources.
In 1986 - 1998 Anatoliy Ruduk worked at the Administration of the UkrSSR State Agricultural Committee and Ministry of
Agriculture of Ukraine.
In 1998 - 2006 he was employed as a chief agronomist and deputy director of Ukragrotechnica CJSC.
Since 2006 Mr. Ruduk has been a chief specialist and head of department of General Farming at the Ministry of Agrarian
Policy and Food of Ukraine.
His main activity includes drafting proposals and legal framework related to soil fertility protection, preservation and
restoration.
He took part in all stages of drafting the law on organic production.

Guido Beltrani was born in 1965 and grew up in Italy and in Switzerland. He studied in Zurich and St. Gallen, Switzerland
and holds a master degree in physics and a second master degree as well as a doctoral degree in economics.
Mr. Beltrani worked for eight years as a private sector consultant in the fields of environmental protection and economic
development, managing projects in different countries and in areas such as energy efficiency and renewable energies, climate
change, agriculture, sustainable tourism, regional and sustainable development, and environmental management systems.
Since 2005, Guido Beltrani is employed at the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation, where he held positions at
the Head Office in Switzerland and at the Swiss Cooperation Office in Kosovo.
As of September 1, 2011 Guido Beltrani took over the position of Director of the Swiss Cooperation Office in Ukraine. In this
position, he is responsible for the overall management of the technical cooperation between Switzerland and Ukraine, which
focuses on the four domains of Reproductive Health, Local Governance and Public Services, Financial and Economic
Sustainability, and Sustainable Energy Management.

Elisabeth MERCIER, director of the Bio Agency since November 2004 is an economist according her diploma (specialized in
the Management of public administration). She works much in the field of State policy, quality promotion and international
development.
The Bio Agency is a public organization, created in November 2001 which activity is aimed to the development dynamic,

promotion and structuring of the French organic agriculture. The objectives of its missions are :
- to provide information about the organic agriculture, its products and its impact on environment and territories ;
- to develop the national observation of the organic agriculture ;
- to contribute to the structuring and dynamic development of inter-professional organizations ;
- to manage the communication with producers and other actors of the branch and to deliver the attribution of the logo
Organic agriculture.
Elisabeth Mercier began her career at the Ministry of agriculture where she worked in the team of the rational budget
planning than she worked at the European level as a national representative at the Community instances (agri-monetary,
exchange mechanisms) since 1986 to 1991.
She was an attach for agricultural cooperation at the Economic mission of the French Embassy in Netherlands since 1999 to
2004, a director of the America Pacific and exchanges promotion office at the International relations service at the Ministry
of agriculture and fishing of France since 1995 to 1999. Before these functions she had the experience of working as an
international counselor at the Cabinet of ministers and a director of the Market orientation division at the International
interprofessional office for milk and milk products.

Tetyana Anischuk, Ukrainian, studied in Kiev Linguistic University and National Academy of Public Administration under the
resident of Ukraine. BA Spanish and English Languages, master degree in public administration.
Over last 6 years she occupies positions with managerial responsibilities in German Agency of International Cooperation /
GIZ Ukraine. Actually as deputy program leader in GIZ Economic and Employment Promotion Program.
She has over 10 years experience as civil servant in Ukrainian public administration institutions, including Ministry of
Economy and Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine.
In 2004-2007 Head of Trade and Economic Mission within the Embassy of Ukraine in Brazil.
Long experience of work with international technical assistance projects of multilateral and bilateral donors.

Vasyl Pyndus was born in 1962 in Pysarivka village, Vinnytsia region.
In 1988 he graduated Ukrainian Agricultural Academy with honours and received university degree as an agricultural
scientist. In 2003 he graduated Odessa Regional Institute of Public Administration with a degree in public administration and in
2005 he completed his postgraduate studies in Vinnytsia State Agrarian University.
Vasyl Pyndus has worked as a director of Illintsi State Agrarian Collage since 1997 and since 2002 he has been a chairman of
BIOLan Ukraine Association of Organic Production Stakeholders.
Vasyl Pyndus is an agricultural scientist and co-author of the manual for students of agrarian institutions in speciality
Agronomical Science and Organization and Technology of Farm Enterprises, 2011 and co-author of Guidelines of Agricultural
Technologist, 2002. He is also the author of numerous scientific publications.

Conradin Bolliger was born in 1974 and grew up in Switzerland. He studied at the Federal Institute of Technology Zurich,
Switzerland and holds a master degree in agronomics and postgraduate degree in applied statistics as well as a doctoral
degree in agriculture economics.
Mr. Bolliger worked as scientist for two years at the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture, Switzerland. Since 2012,
Conradin Bolliger is employed at COOP, where he holds the position as Head of sustainable private labels. In this stuff unit he is
responsible for the overall management, communication and guidelines of the various sustainable private labels at Coop. The
main focus is the private organic label Naturaplan.

Yannick FERRONATO is a producer of agricultural organic products. In 1994 he received his diploma of agricultural
technician and higher technical and commercial technician and began his activity by growing organic vegetables on 2 hectares
and their direct sell. Progressively he increased his productive surface till 10 hectares where 3 hectares were occupied by
strawberries.
Since 2003 his commerce activity grows and he became a member of CABSO (Cooperative of organic agricultural producers
in South West region). Mr. Ferronato was commited board of directors president CABSO in the beginning of 2013.
In the same time he worked on the creation of the organic product shop (with the selling surface 250 m 2 ) which belongs to
the network Biocoop in Gascony since 2006. In 2008 the shop enlarged its general surface to 500 m2. Four years later he
created the traditional organic fresh meat shop.

Thomas Bernet was born in 1968 in Switzerland. He studied agricultural economics at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology
(ETH) in Zurich, from where he obtained a master and doctoral degree.
Through his practice-oriented research assignments at ETH in Zurich and the International Potato Center (CIP) in Lima, Peru,
Thomas Bernet gained essential expertise in participatory research and development processes in the context of market
oriented rural development.
Since 2009, he works for the Swiss Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FiBL) as a senior development expert. In the
position of project leader or advisor, he supports development projects in different part of the world, mostly concerning
organic market and sector development and the establishment of private labeling initiatives to promote sustainable and rural
development. His work experience relates to the following countries: Switzerland, Italy, Peru, Bolivia, Ecuador, Uganda, Lao
PDR, Indonesia, Albania, Kosovo, Bosnia Herzegovina, Saudi Arabia, and Ukraine.

Mr. Ji Urban, born in 1960 graduated at the University of Agriculture in Brno. He was involved in agricultural research and
practical work in organic farming. He studied the basics of organic farming in Switzerland, where he did a work placement in
the Research Institute of Organic Agriculture (FIBL) where he now works as an adviser in the International Division. Since 1990
he has been professionally active in organizations of organic farmers in CZ. He is co-founder of the PRO-BIO Association, of
which he was Chairman for 10 years and also Director for several years. He is a co-founder and first director of Bioinstitut
p.b.c., of which he is currently the adviser. From 2008-2010, Ji Urban was Deputy Minister for environment, research and
education at the Ministry of Agriculture in Prague. At present he mostly deals with state organic inspections (Central Institute
for Supervising and Testing in Agriculture Brno), promotion, education (head of group of authors of textbooks), capacity
building and research (TP Organics the Czech Technology Platform for Organic Agriculture, BioInstitut), and international

Graduated from Toulouse Agrarian University in France and consultant for several International consulting companies
since 1992, Henri BARNABOT is a senior agro-economist with a strong professional record as manager of important farms
(family business oriented ) in the south of France developing organic production and processing since 20 Years . From a
successful track record of responsibilities in the technical, financial and marketing management of farms (production, logistic
and marketing of farm produce), his experience was conducive to a concrete and pragmatic approach for fulfilling significant
assignments in Eastern countries Russia Roumenia and in Ukraine within the framework of the E.U Technical Assistance
Programme as French technical advisor close to Vl. Prysiajnyuk Minister of Agrarian policy and food of Ukraine since last 3
years , he has significantly contributed to establishment of positive partnership development between Ukrainian agricultural
administration , agrarian committee of the parliament and European donors conducing to strengthen the agrarian policy
reforms for future E.U. legal standard harmonization. For the land market law debate as well as for supporting organic sector
law implementation he was a key technical advisor close to Agrarian Committee President Mr G. Kaletnik to propose land
market and land leasing regulation instruments among amendments proposed in 2012.

Sergiy Blinchenko has been a coordinator of the Economic Reforms Coordination Centre mandated by the president of
Ukraine since 22 December 2010. He is responsible for reform monitoring and coordination in agricultural sector and
cooperates with the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine and central executive authorities coordinated by the said Ministry. In
2010 the Economic Reforms Coordination Centre proposed the Draft Law on Organic Production to be included in the National
Action Plan. The Economic Reforms Coordination Centre supported elaboration and coordination of the said Draft Law at each
stage of its consideration.
Sergiy Blinchenko was born in 1982. He received the degree in philology in Ukraine and graduated Charted Institute of
Marketing, London as well as Harvard Kennedy School of Government in the framework of the Presidents Personnel Reserve
Programme.

Sergiy Galashevskyy was born in 1983, graduated Agronomical Faculty of Bila Tserkva State Agrarian University in 2006 and
in the same year he underwent training in Great Britain for one term (Writtle college, University of Essex) where along with
other disciplines he studied fundamentals of organic agriculture.
Since 2007 Sergiy Galashevskyy has worked at certification company Organic Standard, starting as an inspector, then as the
head of inspection department and since 2008 he has held the position of Director General.
Mr. Galashevskyy is constantly improving his knowledge in various areas of organic production (certification, market
development, legislation, different production activities and control body management), studying experience of such countries
as Switzerland, Bulgaria, the Netherlands and France and implementing the acquired knowledge in order to develop organic
sector in Ukraine.
During his 6 years of work in Organic Standard he visited almost all the regions of Ukraine and made over 100 speeches
regarding organic production.

Ksenia Gladchenko in 2005 graduated at the National Agrarian University in Kiev, Ukraine in the field of safety and quality of
the products of the Agricultural Industrial complex.
At the beginning of her professional career she worked at the Municipal Government of defense of the rights of consumers
as a specialist. Afterthat her professional activity was related to the safety and quality systems for food production according
to international norms at the whole seller company Metro Cash&Carry of Ukraine where she occupied position of senior
specialist of quality assurance department.
Since January2008 Mrs Gladchenko have taken position of quality manager at organic certification body Organic Standard,
where she played active role for developing her company and actively participated for capacity building of organic production
in Ukraine.
Mr Gladchenko has published several articles about certification of organic production in Ukraine.

Oleksandr Yushchenko was born in 1958 in Kyiv, Ukraine.
In 2008 Mr. Yushchenko founded GALEKS-AGRO Private Enterprise which he has been heading as a director general ever
since. The enterprise is involved in organic plant production and animal husbandry. The main aim of their activity is to improve
soil quality, provide healthy food products and contribute into health of the Ukrainian people.
GALEKS-AGRO is currently cultivating about 8,000 ha of agricultural land in Novograd-Volynskyi and Baranivskyi districts of
Zhytomyr region, Ukraine.
All the land is certified by the Swiss Institute of Market Ecology (), Ukrainian certification company Organic Standard
and comply with the requirements of EU Regulation No 834/2007 and No 889/2008.
The enterprise exports its products (cereals) to such European countries as Switzerland, Germany and Italy.
Oleksand Yushchenko has numerous prizes and awards; in particular, he was awarded with the Third Class Order of Merit in
2007.
