Organiser: Contemporary Fiqh Research Unit, Kulliyyah of Islamic Revealed Knowledge and Human Sciences, International Islamic University Malaysia. All interested scholars, academics, jurists and muftis as well as practitioners from various related backgrounds are hereby welcomed to contribute their papers to be presented during the conference. Papers can be submitted in English, Arabic or Malay. Interested presenters must submit their abstract of not more than 300 words comprising of the objective, scope, methodology and important issues to be discussed. Information about the author/s, position, affiliation and contact details (e-mail/phone) must also be attached to the abstract and sent to: contemporaryfiqh@gmail.com

Submission guidelines:
Submission should be in Microsoft word format.

Font : 12 Time New Roman (for English & Malay). Font : 18 Traditional Arabic (for Arabic).

The abstract should not exceed 350 words and it should contain the following details:

Papers submitted must be original and have not been submitted, presented or published in any other academic forums or publications.

Registration and Cancellation Policy

1. The maximum number of papers covered in a single registration fee is two. Additional paper(s) by non-student presenters will be charged RM 200. 2. The fee will cover the conference package (proceedings, meals) only. Participants have to cover their own traveling and accommodation expenses. However, the organizer will be pleased to assist those who need to book for accommodation on their own cost. 3. Registration is not complete until payment has been made. However, we do accept undertaking letter from the institutions confirming fee payment. 4. Any cancellation before the date of the conference renders the payment forfeited.
