On 21st August a training Program was attended by Staff of Asha School regarding the various schemes available and issues faced by NGOs and social workers working in the field of disability in Bihar 6. On 11th September Mr. Bharat Bhushan from Composite Regional Centre, Patna, Bihar, run by Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment, Govt. Of India was invited for a training and orientation program with the parents. He delivered a talk about the various schemes and grants, concessions available to persons with disabilities in Bihar. 7. On 11th September, Mr.Surinder Prasad, Assistant Director of Social Security, visited the school and approved pension granted by Bihar Govt. For the 30 children of the Asha School. 8. Five students of Asha School do not have the disability certificates for which the process is going on; the forms have already been submitted with the block office. 9. Students Prepared wax filled and other colorful Diyas for Diwali,in the month of October. A sale was held during the Deepawali function organized at COI, Danapur. The profit made from the Diya sale was distributed among the children. 10.The Enrollment of children with composite regional centre was done on 23 rd December 2009, for the fitting of calipers and free hearing aids and ear moulds. In future the students can also avail the repair of their hearing aids

or replacement of calipers and hearing aids for free from the composite regional centre, Gandhi Maidan Patna. 11.12 Three day CRE program was attended by the staff of Asha School at National Institiute for Hearing and Research , Beur , Patna.
