I hold a Masters in International Economics and Finance from Queensland University in Brisbane, Australia; which is ranked #14 in the world by The Economist 2013 rankings. During my masters, I was awarded for leading a project team to Bogota, Colombia in an improved model of humanitarianism where we trained entrepreneurs in a joint venture with a local organization (Ahmsa) and Javeriana University. In my most recent role as a Sr. Business Analyst at Wellcare, I led analytics for configuration by focusing on performance improvement, developing tools and reports to identify uncharacteristic behavior patterns in configurations data, and configuration initiatives to improve financial accuracy, reduce hold volume, systematically audit changes, and reduce SG&A. My prior responsibilities as an Accounting Information Systems Analyst at Baptist Healthcare encompass financial reporting, administering our Lawson Financial system, and creating Executive dashboards. In addition, I was a Database Administrator for Horizon Business Intelligence; which delivered drill capabilities to account and patient level detail for our executives. During my time as a Decision Science Analyst for Citigroup, I administered the financial, productivity, and exception reporting for the Pensacola call center. My responsibilities included handling special projects as well as executive level reporting. Some highlights of my background include: Overseeing the reporting functions for a collection center of 250 employees, and designing reports that led to process changes that improved financial metrics. Spearheaded the configuration changes for Contractual Flat Rate, which resulted in eliminating 8,000 holds per month and a net savings of $317K monthly from volume reduction. Further improved financial accuracy by cleaning up Florida LOB in the process by identifying hundreds of configuration issues resulting in a significant cost savings.

Without detailed documentation determined the way to manually price claims in order to validate the pricer. Eliminating the APG hold, resulted in a volume reduction of 4,350 claims per month.
