Our New Location Is Open!

Micah National Bank opened its newest location at 7905 W. Dixon on April 5th. Bank employees, community officials, and many customers were on hand for the ribbon cutting ceremony. Mayor Glenda Allen cut the ribbon to open the new branch in a ceremony that included refreshments, entertainment, and prizes. Rob Jenson won a $50 savings certificate by being the first customer through the new, state -of-the-art banking drive-up. The new branch will service the west side of the city with all of the banking services youve come to expect at our downtown location.

The Chamber of Commerce president, Jamal Aldine, congratulated Micah National Bank on its expansion. Were proud to have MNB as a member of our community. The green design of the building and its setting complement the neighborhood.

While you attend the Banking 101 class, your kids can attend Financial Literacy for Kids. This fun combination of cartoons, magic, and activities

focuses on sound financial literacy. Your children will learn how a savings account grows, how spending and saving interact, and the basics of budgeting. They will discover how to make the most of their allowance, prioritize purchases, and be money smart. A short video, made just for children, will explain how banks play an active role in financial planning.

Kelly Robertson, a teller at the east branch of Micah National Bank, has been recognized as the Employee of the Month. MNB President Stephen Kramer cited Kellys attitude as playing a huge part in her selection. Kelly approaches every customer as if he or she were her best friend. She listens closely to find out exactly what the customer wants and needs. Her courteous manner and overall knowledge of MNB products are exemplary! Kelly has been at MNB for the last eight years after earning her bachelors degree in finance from the University School of Business.
