Reflection

My experienced in FS 6 On Becoming a Teacher gives me more meaningful and comprehensive knowledge and ideas about the activities that will provide the opportunities to experienced how it would be like a teacher in Anyatam Elementary School they show to as how they prepared different activities with different styles of teaching. Episode 1 The Teacher as a Person identify the personal qualities of a good teacher, clarify own values to serve as a model to the learners and to create personal mission statement in teaching. It helps me to understand more about the Teacher and their personal qualities and traits. Episode 2 The Teacher as a Professional tell us of what contributed to the teacher's professional growth, and how they develop a deeper understanding of the rights, duties and responsibilities of a professional teacher and also to gather information about policies of the teaching profession. As a teacher we need to master our subjects, to understand our learners, to understand also of the teaching principles and skills in the use of techniques for their implementation and to appreciate of the teaching profession. Episode 3 The Teacher in the School Setting considered the teacher as the key factor in the classroom learning situations, we can be as a model through their actual behavior by setting a good example for pupils to encourage them to do the same. A classroom manager that adopt their own management style, and a facilitator and evaluator of the pupils for their learning. In this episode identify the roles of the teacher in the school setting. Episode 4 The Teacher in the Community tells us the possible learning resources and relates them to some educational needs and to reflect on the relationship of the teachers in the community. As a teacher they need to assume respectable roles within the neighborhood, a partnership between them and the community officials has to be established and their commitment to serve people has now become their common goal in establishing linkages between the school and community. Episode 5 The Global Teacher identifies the qualification of a global teacher and to gain insights about the qualities of global teacher. At present new trends and technologies have changed the setup of education all over the world, as a teacher we need to be prepared to have more knowledge, skills, values, and attitudes to the needs of multi-cultural education within the global community. And the global teacher is one who is well equipped with a wide variety of appropriate knowledge in the various fields of education in and out of the country. A teacher has many happiest and saddest moments and it says that there is no money in teaching but the joy of seeing the pupils to learn, the smiles they give us to signal their appreciation, and the love they show us everyday are more than what money can buy and it could be a treasure for us. From this experiences encourage me more to be well prepared from the near future.

Reflection
In my observations, I have so many experiences in San Ildefonso North Central School. I observed that the teachers are very knowledgeable to use different learning strategies for their pupils to learn more and easy to understand their lesson. Episode 1 tells that the teachers as a person pertains to the personal characteristics of the teacher and how they affect the behavior of the learners in the classroom that they develop each child to be fully human and how they can be responsible. Episode 2 tells about the teacher as a professional refers to the rights, duties, and responsibilities of the teacher as well as the policies and guidelines of the teaching profession and by help of code of ethics that taught the teachers all the important roles for their learners. Episode 3 the teacher in the school setting emphasizes the teacher's roles in managing the teaching-learning process so they can manage a well planed classroom environment. Episode 4 the teacher in the community focuses on the relationship of the teacher in the community and how they join in different activities in the barangay and to be involved in to it so they can help each other to maintain also a good relationship. Episode 5 the global teacher provides the competencies of the teacher in the world and to be globally teacher that can taught with their skills and abilities. They have a well planed regarding to their lessons and the pupils are actively participated. In grade 1 even though they are noisy the teacher prepared different activities to get their attention and tried to enjoy their lessons. I learned also from them how to construct the test and how to get the results and the things I need to do after. By the use of rubrics and criteria it can be easy. Sometimes if the teacher needs to be out from the class I'm the one will assign to watch and to teach the lesson to the class. I'm happy to have this wonderful experienced and I know that someday I will use the lots of things I learned from this FS 6 On Becoming a Teacher.
