Analysis of Driven Round or Square Concrete Piles in Cohesionless Soil Using The Effective Stress Method
Description: This worksheet will provide the allowable capacity of driven concrete piles with round or square cross sections. This worksheet only looks at pile geometry and soil properties when calculating the capacity and is not applicable for uplift or piles in other than cohesionless soil. Capacity is calculated using the Effective Stress Method. The user m ust input soil properties, pile geometry and surface roughness, and the axial load and factor of safety for the pile.
Notes: According to The Effective Stress Met hod. Only applicable for cohesionless soils.
