REIKI 7
Reiki level VII is conveying a symbol that helps you to break free. Free from the dependence on things or people. You will learn to find the source of happiness within yourself and your connection with the Universal Life Energy. The wisdom symbol is introduced additionally.
Dai Ji Yu
The mantra or the name of the symbol is Dai Ji Yu. The symbol is drawn in the Japanese Kanji and represents its name (Dai Ji Yu). Translated into English it means Great Freedom. The symbol is drawn from above downward, the exact sequence doesnt matter.
And Angelus Silesius says: Stop, whither are you running; Heaven is in you; if you seek God elsewhere you will forever miss Him Therefore always start with establishing the connection to God (Universal Life Energy); the rest will be easy then. The opposite will not work in perpetuity. The symbol helps in getting free via this gnosis. Free from all dependencies. Therefore it is called the Great Freedom.

The Procedure
The procedure is similar as with the other Dai symbols. Sit down with an upright upper part of the body and close your eyes. It doesnt matter whether you are sitting in the Lotus or in half Lotus position, cross-legged (tailor seat), with the feet straight forward or sitting on a chair. It is important though that the upper part of the body is upright; apart from this, be in a position that is comfortable to you. Sedentary in the stated form, visualize the Dai JI YU. Then visualize a bright light coming down from heaven, entering the crown chakra and flowing through the body, until it finally leaves through hands and feet again. Within this mediation, one senses the security in the contact with the Universal Life Energy; a security that lets all other appear secondary, but does not represent any escapism. It gives the energy to be successful in occupation and partnership, since it shows clearly that these successes dont represent the life content but are a pleasant bonus. When you feel intuitively that the meditation has finished, just open your eyes and move your limbs to be back completely in the here and now.
The symbol represents: My two arms are outstretched and I hold both ends of the horizon in my hands, over which a rainbow stretches. I unify the two ends in myself. It causes that the complete knowledge of the world stands by your disposal as your access to your intuition is getting better.
In our subconscious, we have the complete knowledge of the world, but what is missing is an access to it. The wisdom symbol helps to find this access. Another effective symbol, that is similar in its effect as the wisdom symbol, is the KOM, also called Eye of the Kanaola, a Huna symbol. It is sometimes also called wisdom symbol, but this is not correct.
Mantra: KOM
Applications: Meditation The procedure is the same as with the other Dai symbols, it can be used for the 3 symbols of this course. Sit down with an upright upper part of the body and close your eyes. It doesnt matter whether you are sitting in the Lotus or in half Lotus position, cross-legged (tailor seat), with the feet straight forward or sitting on a chair. It is important though that the upper part of the body is upright; apart from this, make yourself comfortable. Sedentary in the stated form, visualize the wisdom symbol. Visualize it getting closer and closer, so that you are in it at least. Then, dissolve yourself in it and become the symbol. Remain in this condition for approximately 20 minutes, simply heeding whats happening with yourself. It happens sometimes that lights or colours were seen; this is individually different. But something is always happening. The Reiki energy is manifesting somehow or other, and if it is only by sensing a warmth. Specifically with the wisdom symbol one gets answers with this meditation on questions you were asking. It simply eases the contact with the subconscious, in which all the knowledge of the world is saved, so that this can be accessed within this meditation. When you feel intuitively that the meditation has finished, just open your eyes and move your limbs to be back completely in the here and now. Attunements: The master symbol can also be used to strengthen all attunements. The attunement procedure is the same in this case, but the wisdom symbol will always be prefixed, so:
The Procedure: The student sits down on a chair (if several students were to attune at the same time, they can sit side by side; it is not necessary to separate them during the procedure). The master stands behind the student and puts both hands on his head (The attunements are individual, so the master is attuning each student one by one, but without separating the others). The master is saying a prayer of thanksgiving, visualizes a white light, flowing from above via the Crown Chakra into the student and is drawing the following symbols by hand or by visualizing them:
For attunements into Reiki 1: (W), 4, 2, 1 (this means wisdom symbol, Dai Ko Mio, Sei He Ki, Cho Ku Rei)
For attunements into in Reiki 2: (W), 4, 1, 3, 2, 1 For attunements into Reiki 3: (W), 4, 1, 4 For attunements into Reiki 4: (W), 4, 1, 4, 3, 2, 1 For attunements into Reiki 5: (W), 4, 1, 5 For attunements into Reiki 6:(W), 4, 1, 6 The use of the wisdom symbol is optional and not necessary, therefore the (W) is standing in brackets; it can be omitted. For each level there is only one attunement, but the master can, of course, pass several attunements, i.e. into Reiki 1 the head, the hands, the heart and the 6th chakra separately. This is unnecessary, but feasible.
The procedure is the same: (W), 4,1, W At the attunement into the wisdom symbol, the client gets the symbol placed to the disposal , therefore will be attuned with the symbols (W, optional) and 4, activated with 1 and the wisdom symbol will be placed to the disposal. Therefore, (W), 4,1), W. The first (W) is optional, since it strengthens the attunement, the second W is necessary, since the wisdom symbol is shaped into the aura here and thus it is made available to the client.
REIKI 8
The Reiki level 8 arranges a symbol which helps to find peace. The Anthakarana symbol is introduced aditionally and the attunement procedures into Reiki 7 and 8 will be teached.
Dai Hey Wa
The mantra or the name of the symbol is Dai Hey Wa. The symbol is drawn in the Japanese Kanji and represents its name (Dai Hey Wa). Translated into English it means Great Peace. The symbol is drawn from above downward, the exact sequence doesnt matter.
The symbol helps to find peace via this gnosis. Peace by trust. Thats why its called Great Peace.

Sedentary in the stated form, visualize the Dai Hey Wa. Then visualize a bright light coming down from heaven, entering the crown chakra and flowing through the body, until it finally leaves through hands and feet again. Within this mediation, one senses the peace in the contact with the Universal Life Energy; a peace that gives security and solace even if the world outside should completely break down and collapse. When you feel intuitively that the meditation has finished, just open your eyes and move your limbs to be back completely in the here and now.

The Anthahkarana
The Anthahkarana
The mantra: Anthahkarana It is about an old symbol, which was known in India, Tibet and China. It is used to provide a connection between mind and Higher Self. Furthermore, its application has a positive effect on chakras and aura. It suffices to draw the symbol by visualisation over the client and the chakras altogether with the aura will be harmonized quickly.

Meditation with Anthahkarana The procedure is similar as with the other Dai symbols. Sedentary in the stated form, visualize the Anthahkarana. Specifically with the Anthakarana one gets answers within this meditation on questions regarding your journey through life. It simply eases the contact with the Higher Self, which knows best whats good for this human.
Within this mediation, one senses the security in the contact with the Universal Life Energy; a security that lets all other appear secondary, but does not represent any escapism. It gives the energy to be successful in occupation and partnership, since it shows clearly that these successes dont represent the life content but are a pleasant bonus. Since the Higher Self also represents the soul, its easy to understand that the same principle is underlying here as with the Reiki symbol. Humans are entrusting God and their lives will be fulfilled. If not, another learning process is waiting for them.

Attunement Procedure This is the description of the attunement into Reiki 7/8 and into Anthakarana. The procedure: The student sits down on a chair (if several students were to attune at the same time, they can sit side by side; it is not necessary to separate them during the procedure). The master stands behind the student and puts both hands on his head (The attunements are individual, so the master is attuning each student one by one, but without separating the others). The master is saying a prayer of thanksgiving, visualizes a white light, flowing from above via the Crown Chakra into the student and is drawing the following symbols by hand or by visualizing them: For attunements into Reiki 7: (W), 4, 1, 7 (that is the optional wisdom symbol, Dai Ko Mio, Cho Ku Rei, Dai Ji Yu) For attunements into Reiki 8: (W), 4, 1, 8 (that is the optional wisdom symbol, Dai Ko Mio, Cho Ku Rei, Dai Hey Wa) The use of the wisdom symbol is optional and not necessary, therefore the (W) is standing in brackets; it can be omitted. There is only one attunement for each level, but the master can do also several ones, of course. This is unnecessary, but feasible.
The attunement into Anthahkarana (A) The procedure is the same: (W), 4, 1, A With the attunement into the Anthakarana, the client gets the symbol placed to the disposal , therefore will be attuned with the symbols (W, optional) and 4, activated with 1 and Anthakarana will be placed to the disposal. Therefore, (W), 4, 1, A.
