ERJ 145 Program EMBRAER


The ERJ 145 family is a series of regional jets produced by Embarer. Family members include the ERJ 135 (37 passengers), ERJ 140 (44 passengers), and ERJ 145 (50 passengers), as well as the Legacy business jet and the R-99 family of military aircraft. The ERJ 145 is the largest of the group. Each jet in the series is powered by two Turbofan engines. EMB120 BRASILIA CARGO CONVERTION KIT EMBRAER


The EMB 120 Brasilia is a 30-passenger, pressurized twin-turboprop commuter airliner, produced by Embarer. It first flew on July 1983, and entered commercial service in October 1985. E -170/190 (E-JETS) PROGRAM EMBRAER


The Embraer E-Jets are a series of narrow-body, twin-engine, medium-range, jet airliners produced by Embraer. Announced in 1999, entered production in 2002, the aircraft series has been a success. The line is composed of two main commercial families and a business jet variant. The E-170 and E-175 are base model aircraft, with the E-190 and E-195 being stretched versions, with different engines and larger wing, horizontal stabilizer and landing gear structures. The E-170 / E-175 share 95% commonality, as do the E-190 / E-195. The two families share 89% commonality, with identical fuselage cross-sections and avionics.

AIRBUS A380 P3 DIGITAL SERVICES


The A380 is a double-deck, wide-body, four-engine airliner manufactured by Airbus. The worlds largest passenger airliner, the A380 made its maiden flight on Apr2005 in Toulouse, France, and made its 1st commercial flight Singapore-Sydney on Oct2007. The A380's upper deck extends along the entire length of the fuselage, and its width is equivalent to that of a wide body aircraft and allows a cabin with 5,146 square feet (478.1 m2) of floor space, and provides seating for 525 people in a typical 3-class configuration or up to 853 people in all-economy class. It has a 8,200 nmi range, capable to fly New York - Hong Kong non-stop at a 0.85 Mach at cruising altitude. In this Program Akaer, under contract by P3 Digital Services gmbH, did Harness and Bracket design check harness design quality check of fixed and moveable brackets.

BOEING 747-8 F/I AERNNOVA


The 747-8 is a wide-body commercial jet airliner under development Boeing. Announced in 2005, the 747-8 is the 4th-generation 747 version, with lengthened fuselage, redesigned wings and improved efficiency. It is the largest 747 version, the largest commercial aircraft built in the USA and the longest passenger aircraft in the world. Offered in two variants: the 747-8 Intercontinental (747-8I) for passengers and the 747-8 Freighter (7478F) for cargo. The first 747-8F performed the maiden flight on Feb2010 and the 747-8I on Mar2011. Delivery of the first 747-8F was byt mid-2011 and the 747-8I deliveries are to begin of 2012.

Teaming-up with Aernnova, an integrated team from Akaer including stress and design engineers, worked on the Wing Box and Fuselage development for Boeing 747-8 F/I Program, both in Vitoria, Spain and Everett, WA-USA. More than 150,000 M/H were applied to this Program.

AIRBUS A400M SONACA


The Airbus A400M is a multi-national four-engine turboprop military transport acft. It was designed by Airbus Military as a tactical airlifter with strategic capabilities. Its maiden flight took place on Dec 2009 in Seville, Spain. The A400M is undergoing flight testing. Subcontracted by Sonaca, one of the major airframe suppliers for the Airbus A400M Program, Akaer developed composite structures for the MLG (Main Landing Gear) Door and the Inboard Leading Edge Cowling. The contract included complete design, certification and sustaining.

A1M FAB
The AMX is a ground-attack acft for battlefield interdiction, close air support and reconnaissance missions. Built by AMX Intl., an ItalianBrazilian joint venture, it was designated as A-1 by FAB. The AMX is capable of operating at high subsonic speed and low altitude, by day or night, and from bases with poorly equipped or damaged runways. Low IR signature and reduced radar equivalent cross-section help prevent detection, while low vulnerability of structure and systems aid survivability. Integrated ECM, air-to-air missiles and nose-mounted guns provide self-defense capabilities. In early 2009, FAB announced a modernization program to update 43 aircraft. The contract was made between FAB and EAI Embraer Aircraft International in France. Right after, Akaer was contracted to develop the 3D Digital Mock Up and Detailed Parts.

FAB C95/P95 MODERNIZATION PROGRAM AEROELETRONICA


In 2009 FAB announced a US$ 35M modernization program to update 54 EMB-110/111 Bandeirante acft (44 C95 + 10 P95 Maritime Patrol). For this Program, FAB hired Aeroeletrnica, a subsidiary of Israelis Elbit, to supply the new avionics including navigation, communications, flight and control data systems. On a 2nd phase, the acft will also have new fuel and hydraulic systems and structural compenents. This phase is budgeted at aditional US$ 10M. With this Program, FAB expects to add 25 years of service life to this fleet. Under contract by Aeroeletronica/Elbit, Akaer is developing the avionics installation design. GRIPEN NG SAAB
The SAAB JAS 39 Gripen is a lightweight single engine multirole fighter A/C manufactured by the Swedish aerospace company SAAB. The aircraft is in service with the Air Forces of Sweden, Czech Republic, Hungary, South Africa and Thailand. 236 Gripen Fighter have been ordered as of 2008.

In 2009, SAAB contracted Akaer to participate in the development of the A/C. For this contract, Akaer teamed up with other aeronautical companies to create the T1 consortium for the development and production of Wings, Main Landing Gear Door, Central and Rear Fuselages (segments in green).

AEW& C 145 INDIA EMBRAER


Based on the proven ERJ 145 regional jet platform, the Indian Air Force AEW&C (Airborne Early Warning and Control) aircraft features an in-flight refueling system, SATCOM capability, increased electrical & cooling capacities and an impressive set of aerodynamic and structural changes. These improvements will allow the installation of advanced electronic systems developed by Indias DRDO (Defense Research & Development Organization), under the coordination of CABS (Center for Airborne Systems). Following its official presentation to Indian authorities on Feb 23rd 2011, the aircraft will began intensive ground and flight tests. The ferry flight to India is scheduled for the 2nd half of this year, where it will be equipped with the DRDO systems. KC-390 EMBRAER
The KC-390 is the FABs (Brazilian Air Force) new cargo aircraft designed for tactical & logistical transport and in-flight refueling missions. For the first time ever Embraer decides to outsource a Program on the preliminary conception phase and Akaer was awarded with a significant portion of the bid. EMBRAER LEGACY 450/500 SONACA


Presented as a concept at the NBAA in 2007, the MLJ or Mid-Light Jet LEGACY 450 (and its bigger version LEGACY 500) were officially launched at EBACE in May 2008. Designed to carry 7 to 8 passengers over 2,300 nautical miles (4,300 km), the aircraft has full fly-bywire flight controls, a Collins ProLine Fusion flight deck, Honeywell HF7500 series engines, and a full stand up flat floor cabin. First flight is scheduled for 2012, and entry into service in late 2013.

Under contract by SONACA, Akaer provided engineering and design services for the Rear Fuselage and Pylon plus the sustaining for the serial production.

PHENOM 100 & 300 EMBRAER

Developed by Embraer, Phenom 100 and 300 are in the VLJ or Very Light Jet category. The PHENOM 100 has a 4-passenger capacity in normal configuration, but it can carry up to 6-7 passengers with a single crew, optional side facing seat and belted toilet. It has a maximum flying range of 1,178 nautical miles. The 1st aircraft was delivered in Dec 2008. The PHENOM 300 has a 8-9 passengers capacity with a flying range of 1,971 nautical miles. The acft has a flexible configuration with a private rear lavatory, refreshment center and baggage area. The 1st aircraft was delivered in Dec 2009. LINEAGE 1000 EMBRAER


Embraers LINEAGE 1000 is an ultra-large executive jet launched in 2006 as an Embraer 190 derivative. With a 1,175m cabin that can be configured in different areas (living, dinning and meeting rooms and a private rest space with a complete lavatory with shower are among the options offered) and carry up to 19 passengers plus crew. Honeywell Primus Epic, EFBs (Electronic Flight Bags), HUD (Head-Up Display), EVS (Enhanced Vision System) and other equipment are installed in this executive jet acft. It has a maximum flying range of 4,400 nautical miles and recently flew Mumbai-London non-stop.

In the Lineage 1000 Program, Akaer developed Monuments, Interior Configuration items, Fuel Tank DAM and Structural Modifications.

CBERS: China-Brazil Earth Resources Satellite

1988 signature of the agreement between Brazil and China for the development and construction of two remote sensing satellites that could take aboard image cameras and a transponder for the Brazilian Environmental Collect Data System. The equipment was designed to fulfill the needs of both countries, and to explore the emergent satellite images market. 2002 a new agreement was signed for the construction of two additional satellites the CBERS-3 and CBERS-4. 2004 to guarantee the images supply up to the CBERS-3 launching, planned for 2010, Brazil and China decided to build the CBERS-2B, which was launched in September last year. Today, the CBERS is one of the worlds main remote sensing programs, rivaling with the American Land Sat, the French Spot and the Indian Resource Sat. In this program, Akaer was responsible for the satellites structure design.
