Text: Distributes Notes and Drawings will be provided Description: A complete Basic course is provided to demonstrate the Fundamental approaches to design Building Systems on ETABS & SAFE Programs for students with no previous experience on both of the two Programs. The course includes the primary steps of Modeling, Analyzing and Designing the building to withstand certain level of exposure to loads and excitations. The course constitutes of 6 lectures each lecture is about two hours, in addition to an examination lecture. Goals: Provide the students with a good background about the use of ETABS and SAFE Programs Enable the students to Model, Analyze and Design Building Systems using the two Programs together Help the Students to interpret the outcome of the programs as a design specifications
