TECHNICAL BID OVENS (DIESEL FIRED) PRIMER & PAINT BAKING OVEN Convection heating is most commonly used for water drying, putty / paint / powder baking. Hot air is blown over the article surface hereby heating it. This air now cooled is drawn by the circulating blowers over the heat source. The air thus reheated is passed into the hot air ducts and let into the oven through air louvers.

The oven is fabricated out of insulated panels in a modular cassetee form. These cassettes are supported internally and externally by structural frame work. The oven is designed and fabricated to ensure minimal heat loss due to conduction convection and radiation. The Diesel Fired Exchanger as the heat source. Hot Air Generator: The Diesel Fired Hot Air Generator mainly consists of : a) Combustion chamber being the first pass, fabricated out of 3mm thick cylindrical shell from SS-304. Transfer box the second pass guiding the flue gasses from the combustion chamber into pipes is fabricated out of SS-304 2mm thick material. The 3rd and 4th pass is made out of SS pipes 2.5mm thick.

The combustion chamber and the placement of pipes are designed to achieve the optimum thermal efficiency. Imported mono block burners of Bentone or Ecoflame make are used for HSD firing. The Hot Air Generator efficiency will be 80% (approx.) The oven temperature is regulated by the temperature indicating controller with a sensor, which controls the burners operations based on set parameters.
