DVS-21 in telecommunication applications
During time and essentially driven by various German Railways (DB) projects (Service centers, Controlling districts, GSM-R etc.), there have been emerged telecommunikation systems, not rarely based on a combination of sub-systems. To give an example, within the ART project, station inspectors workplace is interconnected to the GSM-R network of German Railways by a separate control panel. The control panel has been installed in parallel to the existing telecommunication console within station inspectors workspace. By combining Telco - DVS-21 and DICORA, operation can be accomplished with a single user interface.
