1) Main objectives and goals of the course The course aims to provide learners with knowledge and confidence in understanding the application of information systems (IS) in organizations. After the course, students will be able to: 1. Understand the role of information systems (IS) in businesses and organization, management, and technology issues related to IS. 2. Evaluate and explain Information Technology Infrastructure for an enterprise 3. Identify appropriate opportunities for the application of IS in different organizational settings. 4. A group of four or five students will choose a company to study its existing information systems and make recommendations for improvement based on the knowledge acquired from this course. The data input for the assignment must be based on your observation, direct interviews with managers and staffs of that company, and the company's documents.

The MC questions will cover knowledge of the whole course with a particular emphasis on Appx. 30 knowledge of chapters MC that are not covered in questions quizzes (chapters 13, 14, and 1-2 15). The management management decision problems will decision be selected to examine problems students' ability to apply the course's knowledge to solve real-world managerial problems.
