Particulars of competencies
Understanding of DVC HR Mission, Vision & Strategy Knowledge of business i.e. process of power generation, commercial issues, competitors, customers, challenges before DVC. Labor legislation:- ID act, CLR & A act, Factories act, Bonus act, Provident fund act, Gratuity Act, ESI act. Knowledge of Calculation of Bonus, DA, Personal Pay, FCA, Night Shift Allowance. Understanding of Calculation of Generation Incentive, Construction Incentive & Ex Gratia Understanding of Benefits, Advances & Allowances offered by the Corporation like Conveyance Advance, HBA, Festival Advance, Furnishing Advance, LTA, Medical reimbursement etc. Industrial relations:- collective bargaining, trade union registration and recognition, strike related issues, handling employee agitations, bipartite forums. Disciplinary action procedures:- framing of charge sheet, principal of natural justice holding, departmental enquiries, decision on enquiry report, punishments, consequences of punishment, legal issues in departmental enquiries. TQM process:- quality circle, professional circle, ISO 14001, 5S, benchmarking and other TQM procedures. Performance development and review scheme:- Goal setting, performance monitoring, coaching and counseling, midyear review, year and appraisal, moderation procedures, communication of final rating and appeal. E-HR: Computerization of employee benefits and systems, issues involved, constraints, implementation issues. Land acquisition, related R&R issues, DVC policies on the same, CSR policy of DVC. Knowledge of Leave Rules, medical attendance rules Knowledge of NPS Self Contributory Pension Scheme & Employee Pension Scheme 95. Understanding of GSLI, GPAIS Knowledge of DVC Medical Policy. Understanding of Facilities in Hospitals at Station/Project Knowledge of Details of empanelled hospitals.
