Using our hardness testing machines we can provide accurate hardness measurements to the Rockwell, Brinell, Vickers and Knoops scales. We can test surface and core hardness as well as case hardness depth and decarburisation depth to British, European and International Standards.

CE Marking to attestation systems 3 or 4 (as per European Regulation No. 305/2011), acting as Manufacturers agent and Notified Laboratory for full CE marking including: Auditing FPC (Factory Production Control) Conducting ITT (Initial Type Testing)

Our Universal Testing Machines use Class 0.2 and 0.5 load cells to provide high resolution through load ranges up to 250 kN as well as extremely accurate results. Our equipment is flexible and can also be used for dynamic fatigue testing of specimens.

We are experts in the design, testing and analysis of fasteners and threaded products. As such we can provide performance audits and tests on fasteners for drilling speed, drilling time, tapping and drilling performance as well as metallurgical useability characteristics.

Using our extensive Spectroscopy equipment we are able to analyse specimens for their material and atomic compositions using FTIR (Fourier Transform Infra-Red), UV (Ultra Violet) or XRF (X-Ray Fluorescence) spectroscopy techniques and methods. We are also able to test specimens from batches for contamination and defects.

Using our CCT (Cyclic Corrosion Test) chambers we can test small and large specimens ranging from structural framing systems to paints to automotive or aerospace components. We can provide cyclic corrosion tests to client's own specifications as well as NSST (Neutral Salt Spray Tests) to ASTM B117 and ISO 9227.
