FACT: A sentence is a group of words that makes sense.

FACT: When sentences are grouped together, they form a paragraph.

Sample 1. There are two frogs. One is big. The other is small. There is a pond. Grass is growing near the pond. The big frog is jumping into the pond. The small one is jumping out. They are playing. Frogs like water. They are happy. DID YOU KNOW? A baby frog is called a tadpole.

Fun-time activity: There is a lovely fairytale called 'The Frog Prince.' Ask your teacher to read it to you. You will enjoy it.

Writing Skill: A paragraph should have a main idea. All the sentences in the paragraph should be about it.

My Best Friend My best friend's name is Mingma Dorjee. He is eight years old. He lives next door to me. He is tall and strong. He likes games. He is a good swimmer. His favourite colour is green. He likes to Eat french fries. He is kind and helpful. FACT: Adjectives are describing words. They make your writing more interesting.
