A technicians job is to maintain and repair vehicles. The exact type of work a technician does, however, depends on his or her training. 2) Electronics engineering techs provide the technical support needed to transform engineers ideas into reality. They use their expert knowledge of electrical theory, circuitry, and mathematics to help engineers apply scientific principles to practical situations. 3) Sound technicians ensure that audiences receive the best quality audio possible. These specialists have a high degree of technical knowledge and are usually concerned with sound production rather than editing, which happens at a later stage.
