MT7 file names use the following naming convention

.MT7 File Extension
This two-letter code indicates what the vehicle configuration is. For example a TA 200
calibration is for a 2008 1580CC closed-loop touring model that is stock. This code, in
conjunction with the ECM Software Revision Level, uniquely defines a specific application.
The Software Revision Level refers to the “Operating System” software within the ECM. Just
like there are various versions of Windows, the ECM has various versions of its internal
software with differing capabilities. Level 200 and above software levels are for the “Drive By
Wire” (DBW) bikes.
The TTS Calibration Revision level refers to the specific version of the calibration software in the
file. When first released, this is -000, -008, or -025. Should TTS make a change in the
calibration file and re-release it, this value will be changed.
The Template revision code refers to the formatting information that TTS includes in the MT7
file. Occasionally new tables or display changes are made in the files to give the user additional
tuning capabilities. These changes do not affect the underlying calibration code, only what the
user sees and edits on the screen. When minor revisions are made, this code is changed from -
A1 to -A2, -A3 etc. If a major change is made, letter in the code will be incremented i.e. -A1 will
change to -B1.
The file extension determines the format the file is stored in. MT6 files were used by the original
H-D SERT product; MasterTune uses the MT7 file extension for all new files. MT7 files should
be use wherever possible, as they have additional capabilities and improvements over the old
SERT MT6 files.

recent.
Level 200 calibrations are for 2008 Drive By Wire (DBW) Touring bikes only. These calibrations
are all closed-loop and require the bike be fitted with O2 sensors. There are 3 separate HDI
(international) cals that enable control of the active exhaust function.

Level 176 calibrations are for all 2007–2009 “Big Twin” bikes that use a cable throttle. These
calibrations are all closed-loop and require the bike be fitted with O2 sensors. There are 3
separate HDI (international) calibrations that enable control of the active intake and exhaust
functions. These calibrations all require the use of 25-degree injectors or SE high-flow injectors
as noted.

that there were a number of level 159 “Big Twin” calibrations shipped with the original SERT–
these were all migrated to level 176.

calibrations are open loop. Note that if a ECM has been replaced with a later Service ECM, the
calibration must be updated to the equivalent level 127 calibration. For this reason the
equivalent 127 calibration is listed in parenthesis next to the 105 part number.
