Teachers being replaced by technology: unthinkable or factual?

A career could be replaced by new software? David Thornburg said once Any teacher that can be replaced by a computer, deserves to be. A topic that has been debated since 1980s has become stronger as, when it was first mentioned, technology did not have the same limits as nowadays. Several aspects have to be taken into consideration - including institution methodology, country development and student needs-. Around the world, we can find sundry methodologies to be used in classrooms nowadays. Seems like each time, the teacher is having a role of being more an instructor than a master that has to be held in reverence. In the same way, the student is the center of the classroom and the main point of each task. For example, back in the 1980s, the education field was quite different regarding approaches and technology. Mainly, it was held by the teacher that would determine when it was used, how it was used and the main purpose. The class usually would have one machine and it was clear that it could never be freely shared to the students. In addition, the device wouldnt be able to take over the teacher; the programming was never smart enough to lead. Norway, Canada, USA and Japan are known for having the best education institutions and environment that is being worldwide offered to students. As we know, the world is frequently classified in the way countries are economically and politically divided according to its reaches. Those countries have an education structure that provides with the highest technology in classrooms, when it comes to tools used to impart certain topic. Japan and Norway have both systems where the student can get a scholarship as education is highly expensive in certain institutions, however, they can be in really good public schools as well. Third world countries are still in process of accepting the technology as a tool instead of a privilege and sometimes- an enemy for teachers. Summarized, the real debate is based on the question: what do students need as for technology and teachers? As the questions resumes above, the most ideal reality would be that they can have them both. Teachers can be well-trained and qualified enough to give a subject with all the knowledge they acquitted but finding the best way to transmit it using the technology as a friend, as a path to go along with the students. Remember that also, a teacher not only gives an amount of topics in a subject but he shows expectations and becomes in the best chances- a role model for students, guiding them about how to be that estimable human being that a society needs. A machine can only provide just instructions and topics with assertive order.
