SECTION [576] ANSWERING MACHINE OVERRIDE

If InTouch uses a telephone line that uses an answering machine or service, the Answering Machine Override must be programmed. The value (001 to 255 seconds, 000 = disabled) programmed in section [576] represents the delay period that APR3-ADM2 will wait between the first and second call. The user calls the InTouch, hangs-up, and then calls back within the value programmed in section [576]. If the APR3-ADM2 is called back within the programmed delay period, the module will override the answering machine or service by pickingup the line on the first ring. For the Answering Machine Override to function correctly, disable the Answering Machine Override feature of the control panel and enable section [576] of the APR3-ADM2 by entering a value.

SECTION [577] PGM TIMER

When the PGM is activated by a user, the value (001 to 255, 000 = follows manual activation/deactivation of PGM) programmed in section [577] determines the time that APR3-ADM2s PGM will remain activated. Once the time value set in section [577] has elapsed, the PGM will deactivate. If a value of 000 is entered into section [577], the user must manually activate or deactivate the PGM by pressing [#] and then [0] on the telephones keypad. Option [4] in section [578] determines whether the PGM Timer programmed in section [577] is in seconds or minutes.

SECTION [578] - OPTION [1] STAND-ALONE CODE LENGTH

This option determines whether the stand-alone code that the user enters to access the InTouch will be four digits in length or six digits in length. If section [578] option [1] is OFF, the stand-alone code will be set to six digits in length. If section [578] option [1] is ON, the stand-alone code will be set to four digits in length. The default stand-alone code is 123456. If the stand-alone code is changed from 4 digits to 6 digits, InTouch will add the last two digits by using the first two digits. For example, if the access code is 1234 and you switch to six digits, the code will become 123412.

INSTALLATION
Connecter le bus de communication, le composeur et la sortie PGM du module ainsi que le montre la Figure 1. Si le panneau de contrle est configur pour transmettre des rapports darmement et de dsarmement et que le APR3-ADM2 et le panneau de contrle partagent la mme ligne tlphonique, lappel de lusager sera interrompu durant lutilisation.

INSTALLATION
Connect the modules communication bus, dialer and PGM as shown in Figure 1. If the control panel is configured to report Arming and Disarming events and if the APR3-ADM2 and control panel share the same telephone line, the users call will be interrupted during use.

If the line is not answered after the number of programmed rings, InTouch will answer the call. Be sure to program APR3-ADM2s number of rings to be less than the number of rings programmed in the Spectra control panel or enter 000 as the number of rings for the Spectra.

SECTION [578] - OPTION [4] PGM TIME BASE SELECTION

This option determines whether the PGM Timer will be in seconds or minutes. If option [4] in section [578] is OFF, the PGM Timer will be in seconds. If option [4] in section [578] is ON, the PGM Timer will be in minutes.

INCIDENCE OF HARM Should terminal equipment/protective circuit cause harm to telephone network, telephone company shall, where practicable, notify customer that temporary disconnection of service may be required; however, where prior notice is not practicable, the telephone company may temporarily discontinue service if action is deemed reasonable in circumstances. INSTALACIN

Remove AC and battery power from the control panel before adding the APR3-ADM2 module to the system. Do not connect the APR3-ADM2 more than 250 feet (76m) from the control panel.
