D. Low Visibility Taxi and LVTO 1. Multiple RVR information (touchdown, mid and end) is required for LVTO and the governing RVR shall be the lowest of the reported RVRs. 2. RVR or visibility in the take off direction is equal to or better than the applicable minima. 3. Suitable take off alternate is designated and filed with ATC having weather condition, CAT I. 4. Condition of the runway intended to be used should not prevent a safe take-off and departure. 5. Sufficient guidance to control the aircraft in case of discontinued take Off in adverse circumstances or continued take-off after any critical malfunction. 6. High intensity Runway edge lights and Runway centre-line lights is available. (for RVR 125M spacing 15 m or less) 7. Aircraft systems and equipment critical for LVTO, fully serviceable which includes windshield wipers, window heat system for all heated cockpit windows, anti-skid system and both Thrust reversers. 8. No supervised take off. TOGA thrust to be used for takeoff. 9. Review task sharing, relevant duties and call outs for different phases of flight, 10. Review with the help of taxiway charts; expected route, hotspots if any and incase of any doubt to stop the aircraft and ask for Follow me. 11. Not to cross the red stop bar unless given positive clearance by ATC. 12. Minimum 90m visual segment shall be available from the cockpit at the start of the take-off run. 13. RVR values may not be representative of the general level of visibility at the airfield and hence a safe taxi speed should allow for sudden or very rapid reduction in visibility.
