Y CONFERENCE 2013 on 18th -20th October 2013 at Country Inn and Suites By Carlson. It was a platform where both the countries came to know what wonders homoeopathy is doing across the borders. Homoeopathic physicians from both the countries exchanged their views on various aspects of this science, especially the talks of Japanese physicians on effects of homoeopathy on animals and plants was quite interesting. A small cultural session from both the countries on all three days refreshed the audience and gave them the opportunity to understand each others culture. Dr Prasanta Banerjee, Dr Farokh J Master, Dr Pradip Banerjee, Dr Harsh Nigam, Dr R K Manchanda, Dr Geeta Rani Arora, Dr M K Sahni, Mr Nishant Jain, Dr Ashish K Jha, Dr Ajit Kulkarni, Dr Torako Yui, Mr Shoji Shin, Ms Keiko Matsuo, Ms Mariko Sasaki, Mr Yoshitani Akiyama and Ms Hideko Miyazaki were the speakers of various sessions laid over for three days. The main topics were: 1. Zen Homoeopathya way to address the high levels of intractable diseases found in Japanas cases of cancer, developmental disorders, rheumatism, connective tissue disorders, radiation problem etc by Torako Yui and her team. 2. Constitutional prescribing by 3. Exploring group themes 4. Diverse way of Administration of Dynamic Homoeopathic medicines by Dr. M K Sahni 5. Language of the body by Dr Ajit Kulkarni 6. Current scenario of Research in Homoeopathy 7. Clinical cases 8. Cancer treatment Zen method suggests that prescription should be done for the main complaint, cause and miasm. For e.g. in autism and ADHD alfalfa Q intestine (which includes about 8 remedies in various potencies) should be given followed by a remedy for miasmatic clearing also. There are various combinations of homoeopathic medicines that they have formulated for cancer of different organs for e.g. CanEosph for cancer of esophagus, Can- Pan for pancreatic cancer, Can- leuk for leukemias. Torako Yui has also talked about HAKKO ACTIVE PLANTS, which is fermented fluid to activate plants and showed presentations how this fluid has improved the growth of plants. Mariko Sasaki gave presentation on treatment of animals with Homoeopathy. Shijo Shin talked about his way of educating kindergarten. He suggested they should be exposed to air, water, animals, clay, gardening etc. for their overall development. Dr. Banerjee gave a description of his protocols. He also talked about its replicability. He advised Ruta for cancer brain, Nit ac 3C in oral cancer, Hepar sulph in laryngeal cancer, Bromium in hypothyroidism, Conium 3C in ovarian cyst, Thuja 1M in parotid tumor, Kali carb 3C as lung remedy and many more.

Dr. Farokh J Master presented an audio-visual case of chronic renal failure and showed how he analysed and repertorized the case and prescribed Ars alb and Carbo veg on two occasions with success and instant relief to the patient. He advised Beryllium in hypertension, Aurum if the person has very strong sense of duty, Lithium for premature baby etc. He told that 2nd row of Mendeleefs periodic table has wonderful elements which can be used as medicines. He elaborated few rubrics like anger, irritability, fury, rage minutely. Dr. Harsh Nigam discussed his cases of chronic renal failure and gave his tips on how to deal with such cases. He suggested Eel serum for CRF+HTN+OliguriaEdema whereas Apis mellifica for CRF+HTN+Oliguria+Edema, Uranium nit for CRF+HTN+NIDDM+EDEMA/ ASCITES, Helonias for CRF+ NIDDM+ ANEMIA+ PROTEINURIA. Dr. Ajit Kulkarni emphasized on body language and said that almost 65% of the information can be gathered by just understanding the body language of a patient. Few tips given by him are as follows. If someone is sitting or talking with fist closed, it shows that the person is angry, showing first finger while talking shows domination, arms on waist and therefore occupying horizontal space shows a desire for power, touching nasal mucous membrane with finger of a hand while talking suggests that the person is telling lie and many more. Overall it was a learning experience at the conference especially we learnt about the use and applicability of homoeopathy across the border. It was indeed an astonishment that Japanese, who are gadget freaks and who find out answer to any query in the form a machine, also believe in this nature friendly system of medicine. The sessions were quite informative and the ambience was friendly.
