Thoughts/ideas about this logo design: Like the colors of the old image (of heads) so usage of these colors would be good Create the logo with type fonts using A2LP and write out the name below or on the side Image is not necessary - but can use.! If so, keep it simple - simple lines, simple shapes, no screens or gradations Make sure you can use it in black and white (in case there is a need for xeroxing/ copying on black and white printer) ! Note:! They like the "Save the Children" logo The problem is that we don't actually know of anyone doing anything similar to A2LP. We did quite a bit of searching back when we started, but nothing really turned up. At our meeting, we talked about things like the Save the Children logo being somewhat interesting to us, in that it focused on children, is primary in color and "tone". But, we don't have anything from similar programs b/c there really aren't any.

Concept Description
A2LP is a non-prot organization in Ann Arbor. Thats why I thought having 2 as in the logo will show the location of the company which is important. They try to teach Spanish to English speakers, so I used the ags of the two countries. I also used a very focused gradient to show how someone who knows Spanish can have effect on an English speaker with teaching them a new language. The other point is that they ask people to voluntarily teach others. To show doing voluntary work is valuable, I used a red heart. There is also a problem with my designed logo. I did not use a the focus of the company on children, but I used joyful colors to attract children.
