Hi everybody, Would like to thank Curt Dayton, for his entertaining talk he gave about some interesting subjects with a little input from Leo Richin. Also thank you to Curtis Roche, for his fun fact and give away of a bag of concentrates (congratulations to Jayce Gaddis for guessing the price of gold correctly). Lonnie Fausett passing around his unique nuggets and huge garnet and for both of their reports on how their Alaska trips went this year. Just a reminder there is still time to nominate people for the elections that will be held at the December Christmas Party. Also just a reminder to let Sheri know what you are bringing for the Thanksgiving party on November 16 at 6:00 at the Eagles club.

Newsletter Editor Message
Due to competing priorities this will be my last newsletter for NUPA. I have enjoyed the project immensely and hope the club is able to find a person willing to take over for 2014. I will be happy to install the Microsoft software on a laptop computer and show the new editor how to use Publisher anytime from December 15 through January 15. The software is the latest version. If you know how to use Microsoft Word, Publisher will be easy to use. Please contact President Mike if you are willing to take on the task. Again, I have enjoyed the process but must give up the newsletter to concentrate on other work.

General Meeting October 23, 2013
Treasurers Report: Checking $2134.59 Savings $4840.52

Next months meeting will be us. Introducing ourselves, what claims we went to this year, and what type of prospecting equipment worked the best for us at the claim. We need the lists filled out for the Thanksgiving Party and the Christmas Party. There will be no kids at the Christmas Party, adults only. The party will be at Golden Corral located at 988 Washington Blvd. in Ogden. The time is at 6:30. We will be doing gold nuggets for the bigger prizes instead of prospecting equipment. The club is currently looking for a projector and computer. We need someone to do the newsletter. If anyone is interested please let us know. Membership dues are from January through December. Anyone joining after October 1 will be considered a paid member through the next calendar year. New membership Renewal Mailed Newsletter $40.00 $30.00 $5.00
