Students (ALL) work in SLC groups on batting practice, games and investigate what effect they can have on the ball in relation to their feet, body positioning and handgrips through a variety of batting and striking sports. hey are to understand how making contact with the ball at different times and height, will effect the direction that the ball travels. Criteria C Students (most) in game scenarios will make decisions in relation to the positions of other runners on bases or fielders positioning, the number of !outs" runs re#uired, game related decisions$ %eer &bservation

I know how to hold a hockey stick, and a baseball stick I learned how to play hockey when I was small in my old school, where we used to play hockey I learned how to hold a baseball bat last year, in the !aseball"#o$ball unit

+hat in this unit do you ind challenging and how will you tac,le this challenge? I $ound )uite hard to always be able to control the ball in hockey, because I don't play hockey that o$ten and I think the ball is really small Even though I know I can hold the stick right, and that I have a good grip I $ind it hard I tackled this by watching other people I saw the techni)ue other people would use and I would try them out ,$terwards, I would always $ind a good techni)ue and use it I also listened the techni)ue the teacher would say 2 the one that most people use 3 and tried it out
