A RECONFIGURABLE SNAKE ROBOT BASED ON CAN-BUS

Abstract:
The Embedded Technology is now in its prime and the wealth of Knowledge available is mind-blowing. Embedded System is a combination of hardware and software. Embedded technology plays a major role in integrating the various functions associated with it. This needs to tie up the various sources of the Department in a closed loop system. This proposal greatly reduces the manpower, saves time and operates efficiently without human interference. eanwhile, the continuing increase of electronic devices results in geometric growth of lead number and wiring becomes hard in limited space in automobile, restricts the e!pansion of internal control functions.

Existing Syste :
"n e!isting method, the data transfer between the sensor node and the monitoring section is mainly provided by a suitable wired communication system, even though the replacement of the wired system with a fully wireless one can appear very attractive, a fully wireless system can introduce some disadvantages. #ence we propose this system.

"n this project we introduce a sna$e robot for collecting the sensor details. %sing can protocol means we can reduce the losses of data transfer between master node and slave node. Sensors are mainly used for the measurement of temperature and humidity, which represent two $ey parameters inside the industries. "n this project consists of one slave node and one master node, the communication between the master and slave nodes are using &'( protocol. 'nd communication between the master node and monitoring section is )igbee wireless technology. The sensor values are sensed by slave nodes using corresponding sensor, slave nodes are sent sensor information to master node using wired communication &'( protocol. The master

controller sends sensor value to monitoring section using )igbee wireless technology. %sing .(ET application the sensor data*s are updated with +&.
