T hese are just short and quick answers to your sof tware development lif e cycle questions. Press the read more button to get the complete answer to the question.
2. What is t he dif f erence bet ween an It erat ive model and t he Wat erf all model?
Ans. Waterf all Model is a f low based model, in which we pass every phase once, and can not go back to that phase again. Its most eminent drawback is that if there is any change in requirements, we cannot make any changes to the requirement section. Iterative Model is somewhat similar to waterf all model but herein we can always come back to previous phases, and make the changes accordingly.
I. T he Patch-Up Prototype II. Nonoperational Prototype III. First-of -a-Series Prototype IV. Selected Features Prototype
8. What is SDLC.net ?
Ans. When a person is utilizes the Dot Net library or Framework to create an application application, the process is termed SDLC.Net.
12. Is it mandat ory t o implement SDLC met hods while developing any t ype of sof t ware project ?
Ans. T his is a tricky question and must be tackled smartly. Yes you can sure implement SDLC approaches f or every type of sof tware you want to develop. But it is not a cost ef f ective solution f or smaller projects. For every kind of sof tware development needs dif f erent approach and solution and must not be considered to be developed under mandatory SDLC guidelines.
13. Are SDLC and STLC t wo dif f erent aspect s of sof t ware development process?
Ans. No they are not dif f erent aspects of the development process. Rather they are closely related to each other and it is totally impossible f or them to individually exist. If there is no sof tware development process there cannot be a sof tware testing phase and no sof tware development process can be completed without testing the developed sof tware.
15. What are some possible problems wit h wat erf all model?
Ans. Some of the most common problems one might f ace while working with waterf all model are Waterf all model is not suitable f or multiple module projects. It does not support the f easibility of considering requirement specif ications. It requires too much time to complete each stage. T here can be a f ew bugs at the end which cannot be rectif ied as well.
16. What is t he dif f erence bet ween Increment al model and Spiral model?
Ans. T here is not much dif f erence between these two sdlc models. Sdlc spiral Model includes the iterative nature of the prototyping model and the linear nature of the waterf all model. T his approach is ideal f or developing sof tware that is revealed in various versions.
18. Give some pract ical real lif e examples of Spiral Model
Ans. T he most popular real lif e examples f or sdlc Spiral model are Microsof t Windows operating System, Visual Studio Manager, Adobe Photoshop, WordPress CMS and many more.
Agile methodology is way too advanced and complex than the simple Waterf all model. T he f easibility of agile to reshape the entire development structure to suit the most ef f ective outcome is what makes Agile the number 1 choice of developers today.
20. Can I build a sof t ware project wit hout sdlc models?
Ans. Of course. T here is no hard and f ast requirements f or a developer to implement any sdlc model f or developing a sof tware project. T he ability to simplif y project into modules and ascertain correct progression f or completion is the only reason f or which sdlc models and methodology was designed in the f irst place. You can sure work without them but the challenges will be more and there wont be any specif ic process to organize your work as a whole.
