Majd for Industrial Services and Consultations (MISC) is a young company established by a team of experienced engineers and managers to provide top-quality industrial solutions and consultation services that fulfill the increasing demand of the exponentially expanding industrial sector in Saudi Arabia. With three branches in Saudi Arabia: Al-Ahsa (headquarter), Dammam, Jeddah, and Riyadh MISC provides industrial solutions and consultations in the following areas: Industrial Solutions (Automation, Instrumentation, IT and Communications) Industrial Services (Installation, Testing & Commissioning, and Maintenance) Building Management Systems and Security Systems Logistics and Site Support Manpower Support Industrial Consultations and Training
MISC mission is to provide state-of-the-art cost-effective solutions and services with the vision of Quality-To-Success. This vision came out upon a deep understanding of the demand of the Saudi economy and the current trends of ARAMCO Mega Projects, SABIC petrochemical expansions, SCECO power network integration with GCC countries, Government laws of Foreign Investment, United GCC Market and privatization of several governmental sectors.

3.3- MISC Home and Building Solutions (MISC-HBS): This line of business is located at MISC headquarter, Al-Ahsa main office. MISC-HBS is specialized in: Building Management Systems (BMS) and products Home and Building Security Systems Building Automation Systems
3.4- MISC Logistics Support (MISC-LS): MISC-LS came out to fulfill the increasing demand for logistic services and support required mainly by: Industrial clusters and cities all around the country International Companies that win contracts in Saudi Arabia International companies that open business in Saudi Arabia as foreign investors Companies that establish manufacturing facilities Joint-Venture companies and projects

3.5- MISC Manpower and Training (MISC-MT) MISC-MT provides its clients with experienced and trained manpower from all over the world. Saudization programs for companies operating in Saudi Arabia will get benefit from MISC-MT which has a network all over Saudi Arabia to provide manpower for any project and for any job. Whether the manpower is needed for a few-month project or for a permanent position, MISC-MT will provide that required manpower. 3.6- MISC Commercial: Under Establishment MISC-Commercial represents industrial products of international companies to be marketed and sold in the Saudi market. A joint effort with the supplier is executed to: Conduct a market survey and analysis for the new product Identify the targeted market segments Set a reasonable sales target Place a marketing and sales plan

4- Organization Structure
The organization structure of MISC reflects the followed business strategy that gives autonomy to its operating lines of business to achieve maximum flexibility for the market demand. MISC Board approves business plans for the operating lines of business and introduces new lines of business based on market survey and analysis. The General Manager for each line of business has maximum authority to finance and run his operations. The managing directors role is to make sure that the lines of business are operating as per the business plans and that their financial status is good.

5- Board Members and Key Persons:

1- Eng. Rashed Al-Rashed: Mechanical engineer and a former Superintendent of Saudi ARAMCO with experience of more than 24 years in the oil industry covering operations, maintenance, engineering and inspection and well services.
2- Eng. Saad Al-Ali: A chemical engineer and a former plant manager with Saline Water Desalination Corporation (SWCC) with experience of 6 years in water desalination. A former Lead Engineer of Saudi ARAMCO with more than 24 years experience in oil industry covering project management, operations maintenance and engineering.
3- Dr. Sami Al-Hasan: A Ph.D. holder in Electrical Engineering Automation from Georgia Institute of Technology, USA. Dr. Sami has more than 20 years experience in automation field in Saudi Arabia. He is the GM of MISC-IS
4- Eng. Waseem Husain: Mechatronix engineer with 15 years experience in electrical and automation fields. He has worked in manufacturing plants, system integration, sales, business development and finally operation management.

A. Industrial Solutions: A.1 Control System of the Central Utility Plant at King Abdul-Aziz University End User: King Abdul-Aziz University Description: Saudi Bin Laden Group (SBG) is the main contractor to construct the 2 nd Central Utility Plant (CUP II) for the Chillers at KAU. The scope of the project is to design, engineer, install and commission AB PLC controllers for the CUP II system.

Magnetite Project at Zarghat Mine End User: Maaden Company Description: Mustang Company, an American company, is the main contractor. They have subcontracted the supply, installation, testing and commissioning of Rockwell Automation Redundant ControlLogix System to MISC-IS. The project is ongoing and expected to be finished by mid 2010
A.3 Replace Relay-Based Control Panels with PLC-Based Controllers End User: ARAMCO Plant at Saffaniyah Description: The Glycol Unit at ARAMCO Saffaniyah is using three relay-based control panels. The project scope is to demolish those panels and replace them with AB ControlLogix controllers. The scope also includes communication between the panels and the main control room.

SCADA System for a Power Substation End User: Farm of Price Sultan Bin Abdul-Aziz Description: Saudi Oger is introducing a new substation for the luxury Guest Tent at Prince Sultan Farm. An Allen Bradley SCADA system is to be installed and linked with the existing SCADA system and commissioned.
A.5 Modification on the control system of QATIF LPG Plant End User: ARAMCO QATIF LPG Plant Description: Al-Oasis Company, that is the main contractor, have subcontracted a job to MISC-IS to do engineering, testing & commissioning on the control system of Qatif LPG Plant. The control system is Redundant Allen Bradley PLC-5 system talks to RSView 32 SCADA software and other third party systems.
A.6 Commissioning of Boiler Control System End User: Khafji Joint Operation Company (KJO) Description: Boustead International Heaters Limited, British Company, that is the main contractor, have subcontracted a job to MISC-IS to commission a Redundant Allen Bradley ControlLogix system talks to Honeywell DCS through Modbus communication. The control system is for Boilers.

A.7 PLC and SCADA engineering, testing and commissioning for ARAMCO STP End User: ARAMCO Khurasanyah Plant Contractor WEITCO through GE Water Description: GE water Company, that is the main contractor, and their subcontractor for Khurasanyah STP have awarded a job to MISC-IS to engineer, do the FAT, test and commission a Redundant Allen Bradley ControlLogix system. The system was handed over successfully end of 2009. A.8 PLC and SCADA engineering, testing and commissioning for Dammam and Khobar STP End User: Eastern Province Water Authority Contractor: Civil Water Work Company Description: CWC, that is the main contractor, awarded a job to MISC-IS to reengineer, test and commission Allen Bradley SLC-500 PLC connected to RSVIEW 32 SCADA at Dammam STP and SLC-500 PLC connected to Wonderware SCADA at Khobar STP. The job included testing and commissioning of fiber optic network and field instruments at both STPs.
A.9 Testing and Commissioning of SLC-500 PLC system at Jubail Industrial Port End User: SIPCHEM Contractor: SA KENT Description: SA Kent, that is the main contractor, awarded a job to MISC-IS to test and commissioning Allen Bradley SLC-500 PLC at SIPCHEM facility in Jubail Industrial port and connect it to SIPCHEM Plant in Jubail Industrial City. A leased telephone line was used to achieve the goals. The system works just fine

Replacement of Cutler Hammer PanelMate with Allen Bradley touch PanelView End User: Al-Banawi Group, Jeddah Description: Al-Banawi group, which manufactures cartons, awarded a job to MISC-IS to replace an obsolete cutler hammer PanelMate with Allen Bradley touch screen. The program was done from scratch as the PanelMate was very old and not in working condition. The contract included testing and commissioning which have been completed by end of 2009.
A.11 Upgrade of PLC Controller and Drives for a Cut-To-Length Machine End User: Al-Shamrani Steel Plant at Dammam 2nd Industrial City Description: Replace a PIC900 Controller that controls a Loopco Cut-To-Length machine with an Allen Bradley Compact Logix Controller. The DC Drives on the machine are also replaced with Allen Bradley Power Flex DC drives.
