Image Sharing Club (IS Club)

Image Sharing Club (IS Club) is open to the people who love travel and photography. A lot of people, on their travelling around the world, produced many valuable landscape and seascape (including river/lake-scape) images. They are especially useful for making calendars. A calendar normally needs 12 images. Sometimes, one persons image may not enough to produce a satisfied calendar with 12 photos. We form an image sharing club. Thus, the club member can mutually use other peoples images without infringing the copyrights, because he or she also permits other members to use his/her images. Here is the rule: 1. You submit one or more images, which you own the copyrights is a must, to the Club. That/those images become the Clubs common property. Everyone in the Club can use those images to make calendars. And you can use any images in the Club as well. 2. The image you submitted must be horizontal, digitized, with proper resolution that can print out good image for the calendar, such that > 2,000 x 1,500 kb. 3. The image must indicate the place (or city), country, continent; time (either hour or early morning, morning, noon time, afternoon, evening, night) when the photo was taken. 4. Your name (Only one persons name is permitted), and your country must be indicated to receive the credit (See below). 5. Six sub groups will be permitted to submit. They are: mountainscape, landscape, cityscape riverfront-scape, lakefront-scape and seascape. 6. We will select good images and make six calendar each year for the above six sub-group. The income of those printed-out calendars will share with 40% to those selected image-producers, 30% to the Club and 30% to those members their images were not selected. That means, everyone shall get some royalty even their photos were not selected for calendar printing. 7. The royalty calculation is that (for the image of none selected person): Your part = (your images submitted divided by total images of the Club) x 30% total royalty received. And (for image selected person): Your part = (your images selected divided by total 72 images published by the Club) x 40% the total royalty received, plus your part = (your images submitted but not selected divided by total images of the Club) x 30% the total royalty. 8. You can select any images to make any copies of calendars you need through our contracted printing shop. You just inform the printing shop which image number to be used for which month of the calendar that you want to make. (Every photo will be assigned with a number, which will be displayed in small file in the Club website, in the near future.) Please submit image(s) as attachment for our review to: jkxgao@gmail.com
