Gasosyn Energies Canada
(Division de Franbec cda ltd.)

Introduction.

Gasosyn Energy Canada is a firm of consultants and experts in heat transfer and renewable
energ for more than !0 ears.

"e are in#ol#ed in the two most problematic challenges of our toda societ, "aste Management
and GREEN ENERGY. $production%

Gasosyn Energy Canada is committed to introduce a new and unique &made in 'uebec( technolog,
with a worldwide potential, called !er"ocycling# which was recently introduced at the Worl Energy
Congress held in Montreal.

)he process is to transform Municipal Solid "aste ($S%) into a snthetic gas called SYNGAS&
$hdrogen and carbon oxide%, to replace fossil fuels such as natural gas, oil or coal, used in steam
boilers in ma*or industries, for the production of energ. "ith this process, 25 tons of $S% could
produce up to 25 megawatts of electricit $$%e%.

)he core of our !er"ocycling# process, is a high+powered thermal reactor, called GAS'SYN#.
)his tpe of reactor operates at more than 1200,- in order to treat organic waste, from municipal,
industrial, agricultural, or hospital sources. . reactor can handle up to 25 tons of waste per hour and
200 000 tons per ear. /sing se#eral GAS'SYN# on a site, gi#es multiple capacities, of 50, 05 or
100 )12 .

)he !er"ocycling# and the GAS'SYN# ha#e been de#eloped b Franbec $-anada% 4td and its
-hairman Mr. 5e*ean -houinard, who speciali6es in the area of gas and biomass for o#er !0 ears.
)he ha#e in#ested o#er 1 million dollars and obtained inno#ation tax credits for their wor7s.

)he also participated in se#eral pro*ects in the field of energ conser#ation, use of gas and
biomass, including #arious residual materials and in purification of wastewater and clean air
pro*ects.
Gasosyn Energies Canada (Franbec cda ltd.)
(ene)its o) !er"ocycling#.
.ccording to the 8oto Protocol, each ton of waste, not buried and processed to be
transformed into GREEN ENERGY, would gi#e right to *.* Carbon Credits.
"e treat waste material as collected, with or without separation, to transform it into useful
and cost+effecti#e energ, eliminating Green+ouse Gas $G+G% emissions.
. coal+fired power generation plant ma benefit from our technolog b replacing coal with
the SYNGAS at better cost and producing less G+G.
9 using a cataltic reforming unit, SYNGAS can be trans)or"ed into synt!etic )uel&
diesel or gasoline& ()or aircra)t& auto"obiles or truc,s)& .same as those produced b
regular oil refineries. 25 tons of biomass per hour produce 1000 barrels per da of snthetic
petroleum products. )his GREEN ENERGY can directl replace the fossil petroleum fuels,
without emission of G+G in the atmosphere.
:n addition to the energ produced directl in the SYNGAS, there is generation of heat that
can be sold to industries located in the proximit of a !er"ocycling; plant. )he heat is
sold in the form of steam, thermal fluid, $500,- to 100,-% or hot water. $100,- to 40,-%.
/sers reduce their fuel and electricit purchases, which leads again to Carbon Credits to
sell.
:n cases where it is not possible to sell all the heat a#ailable, it is used to produce distilled
water, then minerali6ed and1or gasified to be bottled and sold on the local or international
mar7ets, pro#iding another source of re#enue.

Gasosyn Energies Canada (Franbec cda ltd.)
. !er"ocycling# plant is a source of stead energ, supporting the installation of other
industries that re<uire energ= the plant can reccle their residues and1or their wastewater.
. !er"ocycling# plant, with reduced in#estment, can operate a wastewater treatment
plant at a better cost than a con#entional one. "astewater is distilled and used in the
GAS'SYN# steam boilers or1and for irrigation. >rganic materials are reco#ered to be
transformed into energ.
4arge institutions, such as hospitals, ma be con#erted, with the installation of a GAS'SYN#
to transform their own waste and to produce their own energ, eliminating the use of fossil
fuels and reducing their G+G emissions at the same time.
"hen an electricit generation plant, using coal or oil, is nearb a large cit, it is possible to
use municipal waste as a source of biomass. 9 installing a !er"ocycling# plant close to
a power generation plant we pro#ide the SYNGAS to replace coal or oil, at a better cost,
especiall if agricultural residues are also a#ailable for the factor.
)here are no emissions of pollution in the air or in the water, from a !er"ocycling# plant
or from a GAS'SYN# that ma affect the safet and health of wor7ers and inhabitants of the
region.
/nder separate co#er, ou will find how the !er"ocycling# technolog can be applied to
the treatment of oil sands and contaminated ponds, :n .lberta.

NGAS

Feedstock is received, (biomass, MSW, metal, ceramic, etc.), separated and recycled when needed, crushed to specific sizes, introduced to the
GASOSYN reactor, heated to high temperature without combustion, no Oxygen introduced, to produce HOT SYNGAS composed of Hydrogen (H
2
) and
Carbon Oxide. Solids material like ashes, ceramic and others are exited and cooled before being treated. HOT SYNGAS has a calorific value and can
be used to replace natural gas or fuel oil in combustion processes. SYNGAS can feed gas turbine, in cogeneration plant, to make electricity, or be
processed in Fischer-Tropsch catalytic plant to make, plastic basis, ethanol, drop-in fuels, like diesel for trucks, cars and airplanes. That process has
been introduced, around 1930, and is still in use today, in refineries, to produce various chemical products, including fertilizers.
