The Department of Law, School of Business and Social Sciences invites applications for a professorship in EU law, or, alternatively, a fixed-term professorship in EU law. The position commences according to agreement. Subject area Individual applicants will be assessed according to their level of solid and in-depth knowledge of EU law in a general sense. The position The position requires of the professor to be present and actively participate in and contribute to the development of the departments research and teaching environment. The person chosen for the position will be assigned teaching responsibilities within the field of jurisprudence. We also expect the professor to be ready to perform tasks related to continuing education and knowledge exchange as well as actively working to achieve the departments objective to increase external funding of research activities. Demonstrated ability to organize and manage research as well as strong teaching qualifications would be desirable. The candidate is required to acquire adequate skills in Danish. Permanent employment as an associate or full professor at School of Business and Social Sciences requires completion of the supervision course provided by the Centre for Learning and Education at Business and Social Sciences. In case the candidate has not completed the course before commencement of employment, continued employment will be conditional on prompt completion of the supervision course (Centre for Learning and Education <http://cul.au.dk/en/teaching-and-courses/>).
