BEFORE FIRING. AFTER FIRING.

LOCKING FREE PLAY OF 8 MM

As the accuracy is depending upon sight radius and if the barrel gets smaller then it will become less and wpn will be less accurate.
IF THE GAS BENT COME CLOSER/NEARER

IF THER IS NO RD PORTION OF THE HAMMER

The rfl will be an automatic wpn and will burst fire. Because the job of rd portion is to keep the trigger lever towars down wards so that sear ca come back and hold the hammer before completing another cycle.but if there is no rd portion of the hammer then (with 1 squeeze of the trigger) the trigger lever will be in line of the sear & sear will not be able to hold the hammer and it will again hit another bullet.

We know the gas vent is situated as such that after a certain time of fire the gas come through the gas vent.while the projectile come near the gas vent.now if the gas vent come nearer/closer then : 1. The gas will come through the gas ven much earlier and it will hit the piston head.so the free play will sart much earlier before the projectile leaves the muzzle.as a result the mech safety before firing will not be ensure. 2. The pressure of the gas will be less behind the projectile than the earlier so it will cross less distn.

We know projectile gets rotated inside the barrel and thus its gets stabality and crosses a certain distn.if the barrel gets smaller then it will get less rotation and will cover less distn.

IF THE BARREL BECOME SMALLER

3. More gas will come out through the ejection slot and will damage the firer eye. 4. The recoil will be more than the earlier.

LAST ACT OF FWD MOV

Extractor hold the canilure of the round & get seated in the reaches for extractor. While carrier start for its free play distn bolt gets rotated 35 degree towards colckwise and the left & right locking lug get stucked in the body locking reaches..thus locking completed.

WHY THE VERTEX REMAIN BEYOND THE HALF WAY?

WHAT IS THE DEFFERENCE BETWEEN OBTURATION & LOCKING OBTURATION LOCKING

Ans: due to the acceleration the bullet traversed against the gravitational pull in the first half with its acceleration.its comes down with the effect of gravitational pull. this is why the distn covered in second half is lesser than the first.
DEFFERENCE BETWEEN SPIN AND DRIFT SPIN DRIFT

It Obturation is the locking or sealing of the breech of the wpn to prevent the leackage of gases when fired Obturation occurs before/after firing. Its the mech safety during firing Ensures taking the bullet out of the barrel and helping the projectile to obtain desired distn Free play doesnt play any role

It is the mech meassure which includes the palcement of the bolt tightly against the chmber before firing Locking occurs before firing Locking is the mech safety after firing Ensures the striking of the firing pin head on the primer of the cartdige and firing takes place Free play plays a vital role

It is the whirling motion of the projectile Caused by the spiral grooves of the barrel Spinning occurs in finned projectile Enables the projectile to remain in the trajectory

It is the mov of the projectile in the lateral dir at a right angle to the principle motion Caused by the reaction between the air and spinning of projectile It doesnot occurred in case of finned projectile Enables prjecrile to deviates from its main path/trajectory.

WHY DRIFT DOES NOT OCCURS IN FINNED PROJECTILE

ANS:

because-

DEFERRENCE BETWEEN THE ENFILADE FIRE AND FLANKING FIRE ENFILADE FIRE FLANKING FIRE

These fins are so adjusted and designed as such that to keep the projectile in its principle motion Again it minimizes the effect of the wind which tends to deviates the projectile from its principle motion.
DEFFERANCE BETWEEN THE DEFILATED POSN AND DEFILATED ZONE DEFILATED ZONE DEFILATED POSN

Dead grd caused by some features breaking the cone of fire, which other wise would be included in the beaten zone Its an area

It is the place/posn of a wpn which is covered artificially or naturally from en both dir view and fire of the small arms. It is a tgt/posn of wpn It is smaller than that of d. Zone

Its sweeps the posn or line of trps from the front or flan where the longer axis of the beaten zone coinside with the longer axis of the tgt Its gen fired from behind a cover It is intended to cover and support the deffenssive act Its restrics the en adv

It is applied from a position on the flank of the tps intended to cover and support the advance or attk of own trps Its from the flank of own trps It is intended to cover and support the offenssive act Its restricts/destoy the en def posn or keep busy not give the en chance to pick up their head

DEFFERENCE BETWEEN COCKING OFF COCKING OFF RUN AWAY GUN

It is self ignition of the cartridge inside a over heated chamber May occur in any semi auto wpn

It is bigger thn the defilated posn

When a auto keeps on firing against the wish of the firer it is termed as run away gun Occurs in auto wpn May occur for mech

Caused due to over heating chamber One of the of run away gun

fault or any other prob with the op parts May take place due to cocking off

ANS:

Far dist the wpn is to the obj fired at. Far dist the wpn is to the grd. Shorter the obj fired at. Steeper the trjectory. Far dist the slope of the grd conforms to the angle of decent of the bullet.
DEFFERENCE BETWEEN ACCURACY AND CONSISTENCY ACCURACY CONSISTENCY

DEFFERENCE BETWEEN THE ROCKET AND PROJECTILE ROCKET PROJECTILE

Rockets are jet propelled wpns, consisting essentially of a war head and a tube filled with propel lent, with an opening at one and a tube filled with propellant, with an opening at one and a firm closing at the other. Stabilization is given by spinning motion of the projectile

It is the part of a round which is thrown out of barrel after firing.

It is the measurement of a pecision with which the mpi of a gp of rds can be placed at the tgt on the pt of aim It is measured about the tgt not about mpi

It is the measurement of the spread of gp of rds all aimed at the same pt on the tgt It is measured about the mpi not about the tgt

Stabilization is given by using fins

WHEN THE DANGEROUS SPACE DECREASE?

WHAT WILL HAPPEN WITHOUT OBTURATION?

ANS:

ANS:

1. Auto/smi auto fire will not take place 2. Muzzle velocity of the wpn will decrease 3. Recoil will not take place 4. Firers eye will be affected dangerously after firing

DEFFERENCE BETWEEN ARC OF FIRE AND FD OF FIRE

DEFFERENCE BETWEEN LANDMARKS AND REF POINTS ANS:

4. To save time. 5. To inform undercomd what is coming next andto get them ready quickly.
ANS: WHAT ARE THE AIMS OF CAM?

1. It is not nec that landmark to be seen but ref pts must be seen by the firer 2. Landmarks are shown with the help of ref pts 3. It is not nec that the land mars should be inside the arc of fire but the ref pts must be inside it. 4. Ref pts should not be less than two and more than 3 but landmarks are more in no. 5. Ref pts must be less than 19 degree and more than 38 degree from each other but there is no range for the landmarks.

6. ANS:

WHY A SEQ IS FOLLOWED TO DESCRIBE A TGT? ANS:

Length of the barrel. Sight radious. No of grooves. Length of the twist. Stability of the projectile. Accuracy.

WHAT IS FOLLW THROUGH?

1. To mant a uniformity in the order. 2. To avoid any chance of missing out any details. 3. To avoid confusion.

follow through is the integrated action taken by the firer maintaining all the principle of marksmanship after he has pressed the trigger till the bullets leaves the muzzle.

ANS:

WHAT IS AIMNG?

Aiming is the relationship in which the firers eye the rear sight notch the front sight tip and the pt of aim makes an imaginary straight line.

3. Height of the trjectory of projectile for various distn. WHAT ARE THE FACTORS THE EFF RANGE DEPEND UPON? ANS:

1. Height of the trajectory. 2. Purpose of the wpn . 3. Type of frie.

WHAT ARE THE DEF BETWEEN THE STRONG BREEZE, BREZEE, LIGHT BREEZE? ANS: S STRONG E BREEZE R 1 Speed of wind is . between 8-12 m/s 2 Branches of . trees.grass, small plants etc bend and shake. 3 Flags fly making . an angle of 90 degrees to the pole 4 Smoke . disappeares very quickly

WHAT ARE THE CARDINAL PTS FOR SELECTING AN AIMING PT? ANS:

BREEZE

LIGHT BREEZE

1. If the selection of sight graduation is higher than the actual range the aiming pt will be below. 2. If the selection of sight graduation is lower than the actual range the aiming pt will be high. 3. It is better to sellect the higher graduation as it is convevievt to aim low.
WHAT ARE THE FACTORS AFFECTING THE SELECTIONOF SIGHT GRADUATION? ANS:

Speed of wind is between 4-7 m/s Branches of trees.grass, small plants etc mov gently Flags fly making an angle of 50-60 degrees to the pole Smoke disappeares after some time

Speed of wind is between 2-3 m/s Branches of trees.grass, small plants slightly and gently Flags fly making an angle of 20-30 degrees to the pole Smoke disappeares slowly

Range. Size of the tgt.

ANS: EXPLAIN- MOV TOWARDS THE ERROR AND AGAINST THE ERRORS. ANS: These are the zeroing principles.move into the
S e r 1.

For small arms the line of sight and trjectory

will coincide at the range of 25 m and 100 m. The height of the trajectory at those two pts will be same. So we go for zeroing sa at a range of 25 m for pistol and at a 100m for rifle.

errors is done for the front sight tip adjusted wpn and mov against the errors is done for the back sight adjusted wpn. Move towards the errors. In caseof front sight tip adjusted wpn if the bullet hits bellow the aiming pt then for correction the barrel has to lower down (towards the errors) .so the back sight will go up. But the line of sight for the tgt cannot be changed. Keeping that pt of view to adjust the line of sight the barrel has to be brought up.
MOV AGAINST THE ERRORS.

DEFFERENCE BETWEEN JERK, FLINTCH, BUCK.

Jerk Flintch Buck

2 .

An attempt by the firer to mov the rifle at a certain time by rapidly applying pressure on the trigger Its occurs due to holding of long breath and rapidly applying pressure before exhales Instead of squeezing firer snatch the trigger

Firer reaction to the anticipated recoilof exploiding rds. Moving firers head, closing the eyes tensing his left arm and moving his shoulder to the rear Occurs after fire

An attemp by the firer to take up the recoil before the wpn fire Tensing his shoulder muscles and moving his shoulder fwd.

In case of back sight adjusted wpns it is just reverse of front sight adjusted wpns. If the bullets hits below the aiming pt then for correction the barrel has to be taken up. So the back sight will go down. But the line of sight for the tgt has to br brought up. So back sight will go down to maint the line of sight.
