The Altiris Connector for HP Systems Insight Manager allows IT professionals to consolidate deployment and management of HP clients and servers within a single HP Systems Insight Manager* console.The connector extends HP Systems Insight Manager core functionality with client deployment, HP client hardware management, and access to additional Altiris lifecycle management functionality.
EXTENDING HP SYSTEMS INSIGHT MANAGER The Altiris Connector for HP Systems Insight Manager provides tight menu and database level integration between the HP Systems Insight Manager console and Altiris management console.With menu and database level integration points, the Connector allows HP Systems Insight Manager users to extend systems management beyond the server hardware management provided by HP Systems Insight Manager to include comprehensive client management for HP customers. IT professionals who are comfortable using the HP Systems Insight Manager console will appreciate managing both clients and servers using one console to discover, monitor, and perform systems management tasks on HP clients and servers.
