1. Funktionsprinzip KSE
Das Spannen der Werkstcke erfolgt mit einem Innensechskantschlssel oder Drehmomentschlssel. Durch Rechtsdrehen der Spannbacke wird der mittlere Spannkeil nach unten bewegt. Die beiden Spannbacken gleiten durch die Keilform nach aussen und spannen die Werkstcke. Beim Lsen der Spannschraube wird der mittlere Spannkeil ber eine innenliegende Rckstellfeder in seine ursprngliche Position zurckgefhrt.

1. Functional principle of wedge clamping elements

The workpieces are clamped with a hexagon socket key or a torque wrench. Turning the clamping screw clockwise moves the centre clamping wedge downward. Both jaws slide outward through the wedge shape and clamp the workpieces. Loosening the clamping screws will return the centre clamping wedge over an internal return spring to its original position.

3. Montage / Funktion
Die KSE besitzen eine zentrale Bettigungsschraube. Diese wird sowohl zur Montage als auch zum Aufbringen der Spannkraft benutzt. Die Montage erfolgt dadurch, dass die Schraube durch die Durchgangsbohrung im KSE in eine entsprechende Gewindebohrung auf der Vorrichtung eingeschraubt wird. Sobald der Schraubenkopf anliegt beginnt der Spannvorgang. Bei stetigem eindrehen der Bettigungsschraube bewegt sich der Grundkrper nach unten und treibt die beiden Spannbacken nach aussen. Die maximale Spannweite ist dann erreicht, wenn der Grundkrper an der Spannvorrichtung aufliegt.

3. Assembly / function
The wedge clamping elements have a central actuating screw. This screw is used both for assembly and to generate the clamping force. Assembly is carried out by screwing the screw through the throughhole in the wedge clamping element and into the appropriate threaded hole on the device. The clamping procedure begins as soon as the screw head has made contact. Continuous tightening of the actuating screw moves the tool body downwards and drives the clamping jaws outwards. The maximum clamping width is reached when the tool body makes contact with the clamping device.
